Meet Stephanie Moreno

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Moreno.

Hi Stephanie, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m a proud Latina who grew up in Monterrey Mexico, but I’m originally from Austin Tx. After moving back to Austin in my early teens, I was determined to figure out who I wanted to be and what I wanted to accomplish.

I graduated from UANL in Monterrey N.L. back in 2013 as a Physical Therapist. I knew I wanted a career that would allow me to help others. That led me to a unique experience where I learned more than I could have ever imagined. After getting my degree I made the decision to move back to Austin and go back to school and possibly keep doing the same thing.

It wasn’t an easy decision, at some point my schedule was chaotic. I worked two jobs at the time and went to school at night, living paycheck after paycheck and I hated it! Then, I realized I would achieve my dreams if I better committed to them than to my comfort zone.

In the end, I enrolled in ACC to master ESOL classes, then got jobs in sales, customer service, and at a chiropractic business.

Honestly, I am not sure where I would be without my friends & family’s support. Throughout all these years, they provided me with unequivocal support, not only helping me figure out things I didn’t understand but also being there for me when I needed them the most.

Like any person, I wanted a career that could give me financial freedom and also the opportunity to provide for my family. It has been one year since I made the decision to become a Real Estate Agent, and I could not be more joyful and satisfied at this point in my life. My role has changed from being a medical professional to being a source, a mentor, and most importantly, a friend my clients can trust.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
If it had been easy, that’s for sure!

To be honest, leaving my family was the hardest part. At the time, I was about 19 years old and I felt as if I was missing out on their important events and moments, but now that I look back, I know it was worth it.

Another challenge was learning a new language, being exposed to a different culture, and being able to put myself out there. As Latina, I knew it would be harder for me and I needed to work harder to get here. The Latin community deserves the same respect as others and can accomplish anything!

Despite all those bumps in the road, I am grateful for them because they have pushed me to become the strong woman I am today.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Now, I am a Licensed Acquisitions Agent and I specialize in Investment properties such as flips, holds, and new developments. So if you are looking to Buy or Sell investment properties Holla at me! We operate a marketplace for investors to find their next project and provide over 50+ properties per month. Im here to help all investors either local or from out of state.

I’m proud to say that being bilingual has enabled me to help many people, however, being genuine, my work ethic, and professionalism has also been a major factor in people choosing to work with me.

We have a unique culture and environment, and I think that’s what makes us special. My team is my family and I know you can never work a day in your life once you choose a job you love.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
My experiences and failures over the years have given me valuable knowledge about life, work, and other aspects of my life. Ultimately, I think the most important lesson is to DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY! In my opinion, we sometimes forget to enjoy and trust the process while living in the moment.
