Today we’d like to introduce you to Corey McKenzie.
Hi Corey, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve always had a passion for helping people – I was just unsure as to how my impact would be transferred in the physical realm. The path I chose was massage therapy. Unsure of the process that was necessary in order to obtain this license, I buckled down and did my own research to making this dream a reality!
In the midst of COVID19, so many individual lives were impacted across many locations and industries. I chose to attend massage therapy school remotely to learn human anatomy, intricacies, and complexities to our bodies. After a year of studying -all while managing a full-time job, being a single father (of TWO amazing teenage boys) and studying to become a massage therapist, I was determined to WIN.
Fast-forwarding to now, I have established my brand as a massage therapist. My company is named Majestic Relaxation Massage. During these times, it is imperative that my clients are comfortable – being that I am a mobile massage therapist – I have identified people prefer to be in the comfort of their own homes. I create a comforting environment when providing massage therapy services.
I also attend local (health and wellness) related events to showcase and promote my services. Relax. Renew. Revive is my main objective when assisting clients.
My ultimate goal is to have a spa and mobile massage concept to service all of Houston, Austin and Dallas. TX.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has been very challenging. Working a full-time job (overnights), being a full-time dad, and studying while trying to build a business was by far the hardest thing I think I’ve done!

Majestic relaxation massage helps our clients get back on the road to wellness. We want our clients to relax, renew, and revive from the comfort of their own homes. We offer quality and affordable mobile massage services.
We specialize in the traditional Swedish Massage and Aroma (hot oil) Therapy Massage.
What set us directly apart for our competitors, is the fact that we truly make you feel at home! Our #1 focus is centered around our clients.
In regard to our brand, Majestic Relaxation means we hold not only our brand to a high standard but everything associated with our brand we treat as such (employees, clients, etc.)
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
The #1 quality I feel is MOST important to the success of my company is courage (& a STRONG vision).
Courage, passion, hard work and a community is what it takes to start and run a successful business.
Being a visionary, however, supersedes them all. Running a business requires being on the cutting edge of where your industry is going, anticipating the needs of your customers and conveying a strong enough vision that a team would want to help you execute it.
