Meet Anna Christina Moreno

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anna Christina Moreno.

Anna Christina, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I developed a strong passion for the Art of Music as a little girl. I loved singing and writing poetry, which quickly turned into songwriting. And by the time I became a teenager, I was writing songs to the melodies in my head. At age 15, I recorded my first song and haven’t stopped making my way into home and professional studios when I have the opportunity, since! It’s actually a cool story how I recorded and brought my first song to life, but I’ll save that one for another time! Anyway, I’m doing a lot more these days, performing on stage (which I absolutely love!), collaborations in the works with really talented artists amongst myself, and learning more every day on how to become a better, versatile Music Artist! I say versatile because I’m a Singer-Songwriter and a Rapper. I love what I do! And I’m only getting better!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Unfortunately, like many of your favorite Artists, my journey so far hasn’t really been “smooth”. I’ve had many obstacles I’ve endured and overcome! One being my mental health struggles. I feel like most people don’t like to speak on that subject, but I’ll never be ashamed or feel like I can’t talk about it. I know many people struggle with the same things, and if I can help people relate and feel like “Hey, it’s okay I’m dealing with this, and I’m going to be alright”, then I know I’m doing some good.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I think what sets me apart from other artists, is I’m very versatile. I sing and rap, but I also write my own material. I’m proud of that. I’m always getting asked, “Do you write your own songs?” And I’m like “Uhhh chyeahhh” lol. I guess it’s hard for people to hear my lyrics then look at lil ol’ me and believe I did that.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
My family. They are my biggest supporters. They’ve always encouraged me to follow my dreams no matter what and to always do what makes me happy. They’re pretty proud of the accomplishments I’ve made! They go to a lot of my shows too (sorry for the bad words in my songs mom and dad!”) and seeing them in the crowd always makes me so happy. I’m truly blessed with the best!

Yes! I’ve been listening from the start. Amazing talent and personality. She’s been among the best I’ve came out to see locally yet seems more professional than the rest. I wish I could see her more often. I’ve told her before she blows the competition out of the water!!! Must grab a seat to watch her live she’s worth looking into.
