Meet Anjali Hariyani

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anjali Hariyani.

Hi Anjali, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I am a fashion blogger who loves to wield my influence through Instagram. It started within me from my Childhood, when I loved dressing up. As Kate Spadewhen rightly quoted – “Playing dress-up begins at age five and never truly ends.Since childhood, I have always liked fashion and dressing up. I also have to give my Brother a little Credit, As I grew up during my College Days, he always use to take me shopping and introduce me to trending clothes at the time and help me break barriers and come out of my comfort zone. I always got compliments on my Style from friends and family around me, which gave me more confidence to Dream in this direction. I Always wanted to start somewhere in this direction but with my Fulltime Corporate Job, I never had enough time to pursue this passion professionally. I think the Covid Pandemic worked like a blessing in disguise for me like being at home when I finally gave it a thought to work on my dreams by starting a fashion blog on Instagram. I also have to give credits to my friends around me at that time to push me in this direction to Focus more.

While trends come and go, there’s no denying their effect on an industry, and fashion is no exception. It’s crucial to stay up to date on the most extensive and latest trends sweeping the fashion industry. Though I follow all the trends but I am also a beleiver of styling and making it my Own on whatever I wear or carry. As Alber Elbaz rightly said- “Style is the only thing you can’t buy. It’s not in a shopping bag, a label, or a price tag. It’s something reflected from our soul to the outside world—an emotion.”. Before starting to blogging I did a constant market research to learn about women’s everyday challenges in styling their day-to-day outfits and picking outfits for special occasions. I started posting fashion content targeting this need and soon, within a year, reached the influential milestone of 10K followers. Currently, I have around 23K followers. The list is growing exponentially, motivating me to create and post content daily.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I have been juggling working on my corporate job as a full-time senior project manager at a leading US bank and being a fashion influencer for the rest of the time. My job keeps me busy during the day while I create and edit content for my fashion blog at night till late for my followers. It takes a toll on my personal life not to find enough time for friends and family, but I think the sky is the limit to Fashion, and I love to pursue my passion. Being consistent about creating and posting content is another commitment. Another challenge is keeping up with the expectations of brands and posting new content for my followers. I think communicating quickly and replying to brands becomes challenging sometimes. No matter how hectic the day has been, I always finish it by working toward my dream to open a fashion brand in the future through my own Instagram handle. As Ralph Lauren once said ,”I don’t design clothes. I design dreams.”. Likewise, I dream to Design My Dreams in Fashion Industry.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a fashion influencer and work with brands to close needs between them and consumers. I influence and provide fashion styling to followers from how I put together the complete look for an event or an occasion. I love styling myself and people and always stay up to date with the big brands’ fashion trends. I also try to improvise my looks which brands and my followers love. I believe I am also a lifestyle blogger who loves fashion and travel. I am most proud of how far I have come on this journey and how focused I am to continue growing on this path. I now have my account Manager who also helps me Edit and Creates content for my blog and soon My Team is going to grow to fulfill the increasing demands and collaborations!! I also have started working on my Vision to Open a Fast Fashion Clothing Brand and I have started collaborations with Designers, manufacturers, Marketing team to Plan the Road to Implementation.
