Today we’d like to introduce you to Anne Archambeault.
Hi Anne, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I was born in South Africa and moved to the United States when I was 11 years old. This was a big transition for our family. Since I was little, I had a passion for helping people. After graduating from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX, I became an elementary education teacher. For the next couple of years, I taught elementary school. I took a break from full-time teaching after having my three beautiful children. I spent years raising them, volunteering in the community and subbing in the local schools. I moved to Seattle for four years and opened up a boutique where I hosted jewelry-making parties, parent night outs, ladies nights, girl/boy scout events, etc… Once I got back to TX, I picked up subbing, waiting for the opportunity to move back to Austin! That dream came true in 2016 where we moved to Dripping Springs. I fell in love with the area and the incredible community. I got a job teaching again.
In October of 2017, I was at the mass shooting at the Route 12 festival in Las Vegas, where my life completely changed. I saw and experienced things that no one could ever imagine. My school district was amazing in their support of my trauma. The year following this, my little sister passed away suddenly. I realized that I needed a change. I wanted to help people in every aspect of their life. I was fortunate enough to get offered a position at a corporate insurance agency and fell in love with helping people with all of the assets in their life and educating them. After a year, Rollo insurance approached me and asked me to open up my own insurance agency in Dripping Springs. Their values and family-based approach drew me in. They believe in the “Golden Rule” and bringing insurance back to what is should be. As a former teacher, the foundation of everything that I do is based on education. I absolutely love this community and I love being a part of it. I feel truly blessed to have such an amazing family that supports me in every way!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Is any new business venture a smooth road – lol? I had to learn a lot when I opened up my own agency. I had to find the ideal location and get the office ready. I had to hire an acct manager and get them ready to begin training. I had to get all of my technology set up and running smoothly.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Rollo Insurance was founded in 2000 in College Station with the founding principles of the “Golden Rule.” “Do until others as you would have them do unto you.” We take pride in finding the right insurance solutions for both businesses and families across Texas as well as multiple other states. My job is to find the right coverage for YOU by working with multiple carriers across the nation. I am known by basing my foundation on education, building relationships, and giving back to the community! Education informs my customers of important decisions on their coverages to make sure that their assets are fully protected. My customers are my family and I treat them as such. I am available 24 hours a day to assist my customers when they have an emergency or are in need of something immediately. I am so proud of representing the Rollo brand of “the difference is REAL.”
