Today we’d like to introduce you to Christine Hall.
Hi Christine, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hey everyone, I’m Christine! I’m a nomadic creative entrepreneur and writer. I help people create more sundays in their every day through travel, mindset training, and lifestyle design.
Originally, I’m from a very small town in the woods in the smallest state in America where everyone knows everyone. I mean literally, the population is 7,000 and my high school was amongst masses of turf fields. Most people mistake my state for an island in New York (Rhode Island, heard of it?)
There wasn’t much to do where I’m from, so I spent a lot of time on my computer. My first blog launched at age 12 where I would share my mental musings online.
I’ve always had a passion for hyper-learning, starting various business endeavours and having an online presence. I began my graphic design career after designing layouts + websites for fun as a teenager, then opened a store on Myspace and launched my own clothing company “Electrocute Apparel” at 16, followed by a DIY vintage store. I would visit thrift stores on the weekends and repurpose old vintage pieces through bleaching and sewing. I’ve always found a way to bring new life to old things.
Eventually I started my own Etsy selling vintage and handmade crystal jewelry during my freshman year in college, and after evolved into selling on Shopify and Amazon.
I’ve always been shy about the entrepreneurial side of my personality, but have now learned to embrace it as a part of who I am, and to give myself the permission to change my mind and jump around from one idea to another. When I heard the term “multipotentialite” I felt understood and free to embrace all the sides of me that wanted to create.
Then the curiosity to begin seeking truth outside my 4 walls of reality began. The creation began to be fueled by travel, and a search for a greater truth.
I hadn’t left the United States until I was 20 years old, and was quite naive to the world and its beautiful stories to be discovered. I jumped at the opportunity to take my first trip abroad during college and studied photography and art in London.
It’s sort of the old adage that goes, you don’t know until you know. And you’ll never know until you go. I didn’t really have a fair perspective of how enriching life could be and how alive I could feel, completely losing my identity and having the chance to re-create myself. Free of previously formed assumptions that I felt I never really chose in the first place that made up my identity.
I was simply known as “the American with red hair” for better or for worse. Little did I know this was the beginning… of my love for both traveling and crumpets, and a proper British accent.
From there, my passion to continue discovering the world and this sense of limitless freedom just clicked into place. An office lifestyle simply wasn’t going to cut it for me. Movement became my medicine.
So for the last 5 years, understanding freedom as my main value, I’ve been blogging, creating content, collaborating and writing my way around the world while freelancing as a Graphic Designer.
My essentials are my journal, a black gel pen, and an oat milk latte.
As a digital nomad, I’ve created a community around the world while working, healing, and discovering this beautiful planet. I hope to inspire others to create their lifestyles around what lights them up and transcend settling for mediocrity to creating a deliberate life.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There’s no growth without obstacles to overcome. I definitely face them daily, but one of the biggest challenges is building community, making meaningful friendships, and constantly saying goodbye to people you really resonate with.
There’s also sometimes a language barrier, cultural acclimations to consider, bad internet mid zoom call, or a sudden change in plans due to a natural disaster. There’s the letting go of your dear belongings time and time again so you can move with ease, finding the nourishing routine and sustaining it, and being flexible when things happen that you can’t control.
All of these things have ultimately created a firm sense of trust in the universe, myself, and a go-with-the-flow mindset. Adaptability is key, and ultimately everything is figure-out-able with a smile and a positive mindset.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’ve always had a creative eye and loved combining photography with words that made an impact. I then became a graphic designer by playing around on my computer, studied it in the university alongside marketing, and followed that curiosity throughout my 20s.
Now, I combine writing, musings, and my healing journey with travel photography from around the world. I have a unique perspective as an only child introvert from a small town turned solo global traveler, healing my insecurities and inspiring others to take the leap while figuring out how to run a business on the road along the way.
I’m known for my ability to inspire, connect, and share beauty amongst the setbacks of life. My photography ranges from street photography, nature/travel, portraits, lifestyle and I frequently collaborate with unique accommodations around the world.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
I’m a Cancer sun, Aries moon & Sagittarius rising and geek out on all things quantum creation. I love studying consciousness and how people relate and operate in the world.
I’m an introvert and I recharge my batteries by people watching/writing in cafes, spending time with animals, reading and dreaming, and endlessly learning on my laptop.
We are all more powerful beyond what we realize, and it’s only a matter of reconnecting with our power to create anything we want in our lifetimes.
Solo traveling helped me overcome my depression and anxiety. While I still have tough days, I’ve transformed my mental health through mindfulness practices.
My journey with studying energetics + wellness began in 2010 and has evolved into a passion of helping others understand and create their own realities.
I write a Sunday newsletter weekly where I share tidbits from my travels, life updates, new blog posts and things I’m currently working on. I hope you’ll say hello and connect wherever you may be in the world.
