I have always had a passion for food. Growing up in India, I was exposed to various flavors and ingredients from an early age, and my family’s love of cooking only deepened her appreciation for the culinary arts. After moving to the United States, I was drawn to food photography and recipe development, seeing it as the perfect way to combine my love of food with my creative talents. Pursuing my dream, I founded Pretty Clicks, a food photography and recipe development business known for its exceptional quality and innovative approach. Through Pretty Clicks, I have found a way to share my passion for food with others, inspiring a new generation of food lovers and creators with stunning images and delicious recipes.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
One of the biggest challenges I faced early in this career was building a portfolio and gaining exposure to work. With the benefit of established contacts or a large social media following, I can work hard to get my name and work out there. This meant long hours spent developing and testing recipes and perfecting my technical skills to produce images that would stand out in a crowded and competitive market.
