Hi Tom, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We are a wedding and events venue for premier events, including weddings, anniversary parties, corporate events, and quinceaneras. We attended a friend’s wedding in Wimberly in late 2019, had the opportunity to meet the venue owners, and knew by the next day that we wanted to build our wedding venue. After a long road of researching how to build a perfect venue, banks, and builders, we finally opened in July of this year.
Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
The construction process took longer than expected. We were slow at booking events until the construction process was completed, and people could see in person the beauty of the venue completed in person.
I appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Hill Country Bliss Wedding And Event Venue?
Our venue is on the property we have owned and lived on for the last 25 years. We always loved our hill country views here and now get to share them with people every weekend. We designed the venue with a more elegant and modern look. Hill Country Bliss is one of the larger venues in the area and can hold from 300 to 350 people. Our one-of-a-kind 3000-square-foot open-air chapel with hill country views is a unique feature anywhere in Texas. For its beauty and convenience, it is attached to our 2500 square foot covered terrace connected to the main building.
What changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
The industry should remain steady. Couples are looking for somewhere unique and different to hold their wedding. With the Texas hill country being a destination wedding location, we expect nothing but growth in our future.
