Feeling isolated in the lonely landscape of motherhood, Suzette Reynoso-Bivens, a former TV News Anchor, shifted into the realm of motherhood lifestyle content creation after the birth of her daughter. Her early motherhood journey became particularly challenging when she moved to a new location, experiencing a lack of friends and the essential sense of community. In her quest for connection, Suzette encountered difficulties finding suitable spaces for her and her daughter to enjoy together. Suzette identified a gap in her town’s offerings as her daughter grew and decided to create a business catering to children and their parents. The result was Tot Box Play Cafe, an engaging indoor playground where kids could explore and play while parents relished coffee or tea. This innovative space became a haven for parents and a celebration of motherhood, fostering community and creating lasting memories. Beyond being a play space, Tot Box Play Cafe evolved into a community hub. Suzette organizes various events, such as book clubs, motherhood marketplaces, and motherhood mixers, providing opportunities for mothers to connect, share experiences, and build lasting friendships. Suzette’s journey from a challenging postpartum experience to creating a thriving community space reflects her commitment to supporting and celebrating mothers on their unique motherhood journeys.

The journey of motherhood is inherently filled with ups and downs, making it anything but a smooth road. Becoming a mom taught me more about myself, revealing needs I didn’t even know existed, such as the necessity for a supportive community of like-minded women who understood my life stage. Tot Box Play Cafe emerged as a response to my struggle to find that community and support. While building something from scratch is undoubtedly challenging, the unwavering support from my husband, family, and friends played a crucial role in making Tot Box Play a reality.

Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of working in the multimedia industry, donning various roles such as a Radio Host, Television News Reporter/Evening News Anchor, Government Spokesperson, and Social Media Content Creator. In my venture into entrepreneurship as the owner of Tot Box Play Cafe, I’ve aimed to bring together my diverse skills and experiences to create a welcoming space for families.
