Hi Wyatt, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up fishing my whole life and have always been intrigued by the life of being able to make a living on the water. In college, I purchased my first boat and spent more time honing my fishing skills than in class. A few years after graduation and running my own metal business (512 supply & fabrication), I could finally purchase a new boat worth taking clients out in. After several social media posts, some local guys contacted me, who needed help with their clients, so I happily accepted my first referrals. Since then, I’ve been focusing on advertising and building my clientele. My goal is to take people on the lake to show them a good time and get them away from life’s worries for a day.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’ve had some slow months, but all in all, everything has been pretty smooth sailing.
Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I take people out on the local lake for an unforgettable time chasing and catching largemouth bass. My proudest moments are when new fishermen or women catch their first bass and immediately get addicted to the sport. I love it when you can tell someone can’t get enough. What sets me apart is all the nice gear I run. Clients don’t have to worry about bringing anything but a good attitude.
How do you think about luck?
Growing up in the family I did has made me the luckiest. They are very supportive and have always pushed me to do what I love.
