Meet Taylor Cezanne of PuptoPro

Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Cezanne

Hi Taylor, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.

My journey has definitely been unconventional to say the least. It all started when I lost my only parent, my mom, at the young age of 17, pushing me into adult life earlier than most. This period taught me about resilience and the importance of mental health, themes that deeply influence my life and work today.

Out of necessity and while juggling college on my own, I decided to find work as a spicy dancer aka a stripper. This experience not only boosted my confidence (and bank account) but also laid the foundation for my social media career. It was around this time that I began sharing my lifestyle going to work on TikTok. It must have struck a chord, especially with other women who saw reflections of their own wild journeys in mine, because one day I woke up to over 130k followers. Overnight success in a way. They connected not just with the struggles I had, but also with the spirit of resilience I shared.

Seeing the amazing opportunities that social media offered, especially after my content exploded overnight, I shifted my focus from the club to a huge passion of mine: dog training. I began offering practical dog training tips on TikTok, leveraging my platform to educate and unite dog lovers. The response was overwhelming; my first dog training video skyrocketed to 1 million views overnight, and I quickly amassed over 400k followers on top of the 130k I already had. Encouraged by this success, I decided to start a business selling dog training guides, called PuptoPro, to extend my reach and impact even further. This decision has led me to even start fostering dogs through Austin Pets Alive and training them on TikTok to show that rescue dogs are just as great as any other dogs.

Every step of my journey has reinforced that unconventional paths can indeed lead to success. As I continue to grow, both personally and professionally, I am committed to inspiring others by showcasing the power of resilience and innovation. Whether it’s through sharing life lessons or dog training tips, my aim remains the same: to empower and uplift, proving that with determination and spirit, anyone can reshape their destiny and live a life that they love.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

The road has definitely not been smooth, but looking back I see each challenge as a vital part of my journey. One of the earliest and most significant struggles was losing my mom, which left me to face the world on my own without any family—no siblings, no grandparents, no one. Just me.

Financial instability was a major hurdle. While in college, I needed a way to support myself financially, which led me to work as spicy dancer. This job, while empowering and financially beneficial, also brought with it a lot of judgment. It forced me to become a stronger person and taught me to stand firm in my choices.

As I transitioned into building a social media presence, I faced the typical obstacles that come with the territory—finding my voice, building an audience, and dealing with the constant changes of social media algorithms. The overnight success of a video could be thrilling, but it also added pressure to consistently create content that resonated with my audience.

Despite these challenges, each obstacle has provided me with a deeper understanding of my strengths and weaknesses, and more importantly, how to leverage them to keep moving forward.

We’ve been impressed with PuptoPro, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

PuptoPro revolves around providing high-quality and easy to understand dog training that’s accessible and engaging. What sets my content apart is its authenticity, ease, and relatability—I share real scenarios and genuine interactions with my dog and my foster dogs, which not only demonstrate effective training techniques but also foster a deeper understanding and connection between dogs and their owners.

I’m particularly proud of how my brand has been able to stand out by leveraging the power of social media to reach a vast audience quickly. My approach to dog training emphasizes positive reinforcement and kindness, which resonates with a growing community of pet owners who want to learn how to train their dog in a positive manner.

What I want readers to know about my brand is that it’s more than just a business—it’s a platform for change in the dog training world. My offerings go beyond simple training; they include a supportive community where dog owners can learn, share, and grow. Whether it’s through my videos, online courses, or direct interactions, each element of my business is designed to make dog training accessible, enjoyable, and effective

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
Apps: I use productivity apps like Trello and Notion for organizing my tasks and projects, which helps keep my day-to-day operations smooth. For mindfulness and mental health, I love using Headspace for daily meditation.

Books: “The Power of Habit” by Charles Duhigg has been a game-changer for me. It explores the science of habit formation in our lives, businesses, and societies, and it has helped me understand how to build better habits that support my goals. Another favorite is “Daring Greatly” by Brené Brown, which has taught me the power of vulnerability in leadership and entrepreneurship.
