A Journey of Resilience and Innovation in Real Estate
My name is Brianda Mora, and I have been a licensed realtor for two years. When I started in January 2022, many warned me about the challenges ahead, especially with the market’s volatility and rising interest rates. Despite the skepticism, I was determined to succeed. I immersed myself in every learning opportunity, attending every class my brokerage offered, reading extensively, and actively engaging with experienced agents. I knew that knowledge alone wouldn’t be enough—I had to apply what I learned in real-world scenarios.
From hosting open houses to connecting with my sphere of influence and working on lease leads, I explored every avenue. However, I remained steadfast in my commitment to social media, even when my videos only garnered a few views. I reminded myself that each view represented a potential client, someone who now knew I was in real estate and could reach out with questions.
My perseverance paid off. Slowly but surely, I began receiving inquiries from prospective clients who found me online. I nurtured these relationships, always making myself available and committed to finding answers, no matter how complex the questions. My confidence grew as I realized I had the tools and knowledge to succeed in this industry.
One significant milestone was when one of my Instagram videos went viral. This video, showcasing my “Traditional Warm Welcome Ribbon Cutting Inauguration,” amassed nearly 10 million views. What began as a small gesture of gratitude to my clients has now evolved into a nationwide trend, bringing joy to new homeowners across the United States.
As I continue to educate myself and adapt to the ever-changing landscape of real estate, I am constantly brainstorming new ways to enhance my signature ribbon-cutting ceremony. My journey has reinforced my belief that knowledge and gratitude are the keys to success. My greatest reward is helping my clients navigate their real estate needs, and any recognition I receive is simply a bonus.
I am deeply honored to have been awarded the International President’s Circle, placing me in the top 4% of Coldwell Banker agents, and to be recognized as one of the top 500 Realtors in the Austin Market, ranking in the top 2.5%. I owe these achievements to my clients, whose trust and confidence have made all of this possible.

Throughout my career, I’ve faced numerous obstacles, but perseverance has always been my guiding principle. I view each experience as a victory. Whether I succeed or learn, there is never a loss from my perspective. I remain consistently grateful for every opportunity, regardless of the outcome. My belief is simple: keep moving forward, and your past experiences will equip you to better navigate future challenges.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I moved to Austin in 1997 from Mexico at the age of five and grew up in North Austin, attending school locally and graduating from Lanier High School in 2010. As a teen parent, I faced challenges in pursuing a career that once seemed impossible. However, with determination and as my children have grown older and more independent, I successfully transitioned into a career in real estate—a field that allows me to make a meaningful impact on others’ lives. I am deeply grateful for the opportunities that have brought me to where I am today.
As I’ve watched Austin develop into an incredible city, welcoming new businesses and investors, I couldn’t be prouder to call myself an Austinite. My parents’ decision to move here has been one of the greatest blessings in my life.
