Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Creating Love Lines was a journey filled with challenges, as most worthwhile endeavors are. The idea of combining therapeutic insight with matchmaking and coaching was new and uncharted territory. It required blending two very different worlds—one grounded in the clinical, evidence-based practice of therapy, and the other in the dynamic, fast-paced environment of dating and matchmaking. The biggest challenge was ensuring that our approach remained authentic to the values of both fields, without compromising the integrity of either. We had to be clear that while our team is made up of trained couples therapists, in this capacity, we aren’t operating as therapists. Instead, we use our deep understanding of relationship dynamics to guide and support our clients in a different, yet equally impactful, way.
Building a team of professionals who shared this vision was no small feat. It wasn’t just about finding people with the right credentials; it was about finding those who were passionate about changing the way we approach love and relationships. There were times when it felt like an impossible balancing act—trying to create a service that was both deeply empathetic and highly effective, all while navigating the practicalities of running a business.
