Olatunde, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Tlconnect Photography was born and a product of imagination due to my passion for photography. The journey started 6 years ago by my wife ideology as a makeup artist. She feels taking pictures of her client(s) after the makeup is very important. So, we decided to get a camera and use my living room as the studio. But before the proper set as a professional i went for series of training both online and physical classroom engagement. We are a registered member of Professional Photographer of America. Since the establishment of the photography outlet in Houston Texas, Tlconnect Photography has won 2 awards namely; Afrocentric Eva Award 2023 as the Best Photography and Videography of the year in Houston Texas and AMA Award 2024.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Well, no business is free of obstacles or challenges. Firstly, timing; clients would always need a service to be delivered as soon as possible but the creative industry like the photography industry would make sure all jobs are delivered promptly but some issues could arise as a result of loss of memory cards, breakdown of gears during coverage etc. Also, unwillingness to pay by client due to random comparation. Customers are charged based on the services and energy pulled by the photographer, but some customers don’t really understand it. For instance, Houston community is a very competitive market due to the increasing numbers of photographers operating in the city.

Tlconnect Photography is very much available for coverage of events such as weddings, birthdays, baby showers, landscaping, commercial shooting and the likes. We carved a niche in creating an outstanding and beautiful images customers can be proud of.
