Daily Inspiration: Meet Mia Amador

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mia Amador

Hi Mia, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I am Mexican American for school I do online schooling and i help out with my family in our business its called AionCare and we take care of elderly, it’s an assisted living company we own 8 of them they are all based in Michigan. I’ve been working in the company for about 2 years now. I went from helping with paperwork to now present day building online marketing and marketing in person for the business. We started with 2 locations that are based in Lake Orion MI. To now 8 that are even in Port Huron MI. Through the years i have done paperwork, payroll, hiring caregivers, marketing etc we do it all. I started because not to long ago my grandfather passed away and we were very close. My Parents already had the business but it wasn’t until later I started to grow within the business to help other people’s family member’s. We call it the waiting room to heaven and we love what we do. On the other hand I also do social media on TikTok, Instagram and Youtube. To connect with young girl’s and women to give them a different perspective on what beauty really means, And to be that “Comfort Creator” for them sharing makeup ideas to what I do at my job and sharing meaningful messages as well.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not everything is a smooth transition, for me it was very difficult i went from going to school everyday not having a job and having nothing to do after school, being depressed and not having loyal friends and having to battle with my emotions. To one day starting to work in my company with my parents helping peoples family members and have them have a better quality life, and helping girls on social media learning a new language, how to love yourself, wanting to start in the medical business etc. I would have never believed i would be here today sharing my story and thinking I can help other young women too and become the best version of themself.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Like I said me and my parents own an assisted living company that’s called AionCare we own 8 assisted living’s that are based in Michigan. Starting from Lake Orion all the way to Port Huron. I help out with Payroll, hiring staff members, paperwork, marketing for the company in person and online. Like i had mentioned i also do social media my handles are mxmiamcshane for tiktok and instagram mia_mcshanee. I post all kinds of content but my main focus is to help other young women to understand a different perspective of what beauty means it’s not just on the outside it’s on the inside that counts i have a very long painful and happy personal story and i would love to share that with other girls that can relate so that they can grow and be even better. I am so proud of myself from overcoming my depression that i experienced for a while and among other things to use that to make myself better but to share that with other people so they can feel like they are heard to

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson i have learned throughout my journey has been to always love yourself but to also always be there for you always. Even if you feel like you are going through a battle and it feels impossible to fight keep on going always because you can always accomplish something if you put your mind to it but most importantly your heart. Always to be your own cheerleader. And each time you feel like something is impossible just remember the bigger the battle the even better prize you will have to grow as a person
