Hi Zachariah, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
It’s been a steep climb, but extremely rewarding! My desire to create opportunity in life was born of necessity but quickly became a passion as I discovered I could create this not only for myself but more importantly others. This naturally set me up for the “Entrepreneurial” mentality, and once those hooks were in, they stuck.
Walden Media Group is not my only business but is my primary focus. This agency has been a long time in the making, and we are so grateful to be where we are today. By the way, we are hiring – so check us out.
We are a true full-service digital agency, from development, digital transformation, consulting, architecture, implementation, creative, and digital marketing, we ensure every piece of these puzzles works well together, reaches the right audience, and most importantly converts to revenue.
I made the official jump to start Walden Media Group in the midst of the covid pandemic as I saw businesses scrambling to survive the loss of in-person business and get online. I felt I had some new ideas to help solve this problem.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
I keep an air mattress at the office and I assure you it’s not for decoration, ha! With any startup or new idea, challenges will be around every corner. I’ve found great enjoyment in problem-solving and remaining adaptable as we scale, and would say the secret to overcoming these obstacles is simply surrounding ourselves with the right people, the right clients, and making the right hires. We are still a small team and everyone on board plays a crucial role in our success. Our goal is to be at 100 employees within 36 months.

Walden Media Group is an Expert Technologies and Digital Agency. We work with businesses ranging from enterprise-level b2b all the way to early-stage seed start-ups. We believe there are three key ingredients for success in modern digital business; People, Product, and Platform. Our role for our clients is to perfect the platform. I have another business as well, Iron Table Wagyu. We are Texas’s premium boutique beef producer. We breed and raise 100% Full-Blood Japanese Black Wagyu right here in Texas on our ranch about 1 hour north of Austin, in Gatesville. We are a small team, Jad Tawater, Will Tawater, Jim Dimeo, James Dimeo, and myself. It has been such a privilege to see the reception here in Texas and nationwide as we grow.
We are extremely proud to have recently partnered with Michelin Star Chef Phillip Franklin Lee and his Austin Restaurants: Sushi by Scratch Restaurants and Pasta Bar Austin. We are also now in Steiner Ranch Steakhouse and Hyatt Lost Pines Resort. You can also try an Iron Table Wagyu burger at Bouldin Acres.
