Hidden Gems: Meet Jasmine Sauceda of With Heart and Hands Chiropractic

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Sauceda.

Hi Jasmine, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey into chiropractic began through what felt like a leap of faith. While in college, I met representatives from what would later become my chiropractic school, and that conversation sparked an interest that eventually grew into a calling. As I learned more about the body’s ability to heal and the powerful role the nervous system plays in overall health, I knew I had found the path I was meant to pursue.

After becoming a chiropractor, I felt inspired to create something that reflected my heart for serving women and families. With Heart and Hands Chiropractic was founded to provide connection, empowerment, and presence to those I serve. I specialize in prenatal and pediatric chiropractic care because I am passionate about supporting mothers, babies, and growing families during some of life’s most transformative seasons.

I wanted to create more than just a chiropractic office, I wanted to create a safe, welcoming space for healing and offer care that truly meets families where they are. Through both in-office care and home visits, my goal is to support mothers with compassion, education, and personalized care so they feel seen, supported, and empowered throughout their health journey.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has definitely not been without challenges, but I firmly believe that anything worthwhile requires effort, persistence, and a willingness to grow. One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced has been learning the business side of entrepreneurship. While chiropractic school does an incredible job of preparing us to care for patients, there is much less focus on running and growing a business.

Starting my own practice required me to step into roles far beyond being a chiropractor: marketer, accountant, administrator, and business owner. There has been a steep learning curve, but it has also been one of the most rewarding parts of the journey. Every challenge has taught me valuable lessons, strengthened my confidence, and helped me build a practice that truly reflects my values and vision for serving families in my community.

We’ve been impressed with With Heart and Hands Chiropractic, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
With Heart and Hands Chiropractic is a family-centered chiropractic practice specializing in prenatal, postpartum, pediatric, and family wellness care. My approach is rooted in the understanding that the nervous system plays a vital role in overall health, and that true healing happens when people feel safe, supported, and connected.

What sets my practice apart is the personalized experience I strive to create for every practice member. I take the time to listen, educate, and empower individuals so they can better understand their bodies and make informed decisions about their health. In addition to office visits, I also offer home visits for mothers and families, providing accessible care during seasons of life when getting out of the house can feel overwhelming.

Beyond chiropractic care, I am passionate about creating community and supporting women through every stage of motherhood. As a birth doula, co-host of Mama Wellness Workshops, and founder of the Joy Walk Club, I am committed to providing spaces where women can learn, connect, and feel supported in their health and wellness journeys.

What I am most proud of is the community that has grown around this practice. This practice has always been about more than chiropractic: it is about helping people feel seen, cared for, and empowered. Whether you’re expecting a baby, navigating motherhood, raising a family, or simply looking for a more holistic approach to health, this is a place where you will be welcomed, supported, and cared for with both heart and hands.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
One of the things I love most about the Austin area is the natural beauty. The rolling hills, open landscapes, and easy access to the rivers make it such a special place to live. There is something grounding about being able to spend time outdoors, whether it’s floating the river, taking a walk, or simply enjoying the scenery. It creates a lifestyle that encourages connection, movement, and appreciation for nature.

If I had to choose a least favorite thing, it would definitely be the traffic on I-35. As the area continues to grow, navigating the highway can be challenging and often requires a little extra patience. That said, the growth is also a reflection of how many people are drawn to this incredible community and all that it has to offer.
