Hi Reese, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started my small business in 2022 at the age of 14! My business started with the passion of business, and creating community. Over the years, I’ve grown a community around me that I absolutely love, as well as I’ve corrected my products into being the best quality they can possibly be! Offering my customers dishwasher safe, girly glassware!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Running a small business, especially when you’re so young is no easy thing to do! Throughout the years I’ve had to learn how to communicate professionally, find which markets are the best, and how to deal with finances!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
To create my products, I use a Cricut, I-Pad, and my hands! I first create the designs using my I-Pad, then cutting them out with my Cricut, and lastly pulling every little piece out of the design and placing it on the cup! My glassware is unique as it is dishwasher safe, created with light and lush colours, and the designs themselves are very unique to most products that are like mine!
What does success mean to you?
To me, success doesn’t necessarily mean financially stable or famous in any way! If I were to define ‘success’ I would use three words; COMMUNITY, RELIABILITY, and CONFIDENCE! Here’s a break down of why I think these matter most when it comes to success!
– Community, because without community, you cannot learn! And to be successful you must have the ability to learn. Not only from your own research and experiences, but also from the research and experiences from others around you!
-Reliability, because if people cannot rely on you, then you cannot create a good environment where you can learn, chat, and sell! Learning and connecting are super important when it comes to success in my mind!
-Lastly, confidence. Confidence is a powerful thing. Confidence can change who you are entirely, positively or negatively! You take your pick! But confidence within yourself will make you feel successful within no matter what!
