Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Verdant Holistics began from our own personal journey. My partner Hunter and I have always shared a connection through creativity, wellness, nature, and conscious living. Over time we realized many of the products we used every day didn’t align with the lifestyle or values we believed in.
We had spent years becoming more intentional about what we consumed through living a vegan lifestyle and focusing on overall wellness, but we kept running into products filled with synthetic ingredients, artificial fragrances, harsh chemicals, and unnecessary fillers. The more we learned, the more we started changing everything in our own lives, from the products we used daily to the way we approached self-care and sustainability.
Eventually, we stopped asking, “Where can we find better products?” and started asking, “Why don’t we just create them ourselves?”
What started as a personal experimentation quickly became a passion. We began researching ingredients, learning more about holistic wellness, studying formulations, and simplifying everything down to what was truly necessary/beneficial. We loved the idea that self-care could feel elevated and luxury without compromising health, ethics, or sustainability.
In the beginning, we were handcrafting small batches, testing formulas ourselves, refining every detail, and spending countless late nights talking about what we wanted Verdant to represent. We didn’t want to create just another wellness brand, we wanted to build something intentional, transparent, and genuinely aligned with conscious living.
A huge part of why we started Verdant Holistics was to make things simpler for other people too. Once you start paying attention to ingredients and learning how many unnecessary additives are hidden in everyday products, it can feel overwhelming. We wanted to create products people could trust without constantly questioning what’s inside them.
That philosophy guides everything we do today. Every ingredient, formula, and packaging decision is rooted in simplicity, wellness, and respect for the earth. We make our products in small intentional batches, use recyclable glass packaging whenever possible, continue improving wherever we can, and choosing options that feel more aligned with our values as we learn and grow.
We’re still at the beginning of our journey, but every order and every person who connects with our mission means so much to us. Verdant Holistics has become more than a business but a reflection of the lifestyle and values we genuinely live by every day.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a completely smooth road, but it’s been a really meaningful one. We started everything from the ground up, and even though Verdant Holistics is still new, it’s taken a year of testing, refining, and rebuilding different parts of the process to bring it to life.
From the beginning, it’s been very hands-on and fully done by just us. We’ve spent a lot of time testing different ingredients and formulations, trying different bottles and packaging, and going back and forth on labels and branding until everything felt right. A lot of it has been late nights, learning through trial and error, and slowly piecing everything together while still balancing everything else going on day to day.
It hasn’t been quick or straightforward, but doing it ourselves has made every detail intentional. It’s pushed us to stay patient and committed to building something we genuinely stand behind, rather than rushing the process. Even in such an early stage, it’s already felt incredibly rewarding, and we’re proud of what we’ve been able to create so far and share with people.

Verdant Holistics is a wellness brand focused on creating simple, plant-based personal care products that people can trust and enjoy using every day. We specialize in limited-ingredient formulas designed to be clean, gentle, and effective, without unnecessary additives or complicated ingredient lists. We believe in using what the earth naturally provides and that you don’t need much, just thoughtful ingredients from nature.
Right now, our collection includes a hair oil and a bath soak, both created to make everyday self-care feel calming, grounding, and enjoyable. We also care deeply about how our products feel to use in real life, not just what’s inside them, but the experience of incorporating them into your routine.
What sets us apart is our commitment to simplicity. We don’t believe products need to be complex to be effective. Instead, we focus on thoughtful ingredients that serve a clear purpose, so people can feel confident and comfortable in what they’re putting on their body.
We’re also very intentional about the full experience, including packaging. We design everything to feel simple yet beautiful, creating products that look good in your space and feel considered from the moment you see them.
What we’re most proud of is staying true to our values from the very beginning. Everything we create is rooted in respect for the body and the planet, and in the belief that self-care should feel easy, not overwhelming or confusing.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to expand into more areas of wellness, including beauty, lifestyle, and pet care, using the same approach. Simple, trustworthy products that people can rely on across different parts of their lives.

We’re also very grateful for the customers and supporters we’ve connected with so far. Even in a small way, having people try our products, share feedback, and genuinely connect with the brand has meant a lot to us.
