Today we’d like to introduce you to Megan Adrienne.
Hi Megan, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
We started as two young moms redoing furniture in the garage during the week and doing vintage flea markets on the weekends. After two years of shows we opened our brick and mortar in an old gas station next to the Bluebonnet Cafe. Our clientele grew and we refined our style. We moved once more to our current location which is about 3000 sq ft of showroom, and expanded into high-end brands for the home and lifestyle.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It was humble beginnings and a long process of reinvesting into the business. It did not grow over night but over the course of about 10 years. The most challenging but most rewarding part has been growing a family, while growing a business. So full time shop owners and full time moms, and being passionate about both meant many days of babies strapped on while working. We had a playroom in the back of our shop were the littles would play while we worked. We now have loyal customers who remember those days and still ask about the kiddos.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are a home and lifestyle shop, where home interiors is a main focus. We wanted to create a space to share our passion of home but also, all of our favorite brands. Our signature style is a curation of old and new pieces, subtle tones and nature inspired. We want all of our spaces to feel grounded and authentic.
