Meet Nicole Johnson of Bastrop, TX

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Johnson

Hi Nicole, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m Nicole, a 5x certified permanent makeup and paramedical tattoo artist dedicated to unleashing the beauty and confidence that resides within every woman. With a fervent passion for enhancing natural features through the transformative art of permanent makeup, I’ve made it my mission to empower women to feel stunning in their own skin.

For years, I’ve immersed myself in the world of permanent makeup, honing my skills and mastering the delicate craft of creating flawless brows, mesmerizing eyeliner, and life-changing paramedical tattooing. My expertise extends to lip blushing, a revolutionary tattoo technique that enhances your natural lip color while creating fuller, more defined lips that look completely natural. Through meticulous attention to detail and a keen eye for individual beauty, I strive to deliver results that not only exceed expectations but also instill a newfound sense of self-assurance in my clients.

I’m also proud to offer advanced ProCell Therapies microchanneling treatments, an evolved form of skin rejuvenation that creates invisible micro-channels to trigger natural healing and collagen production. This cutting-edge treatment effectively addresses fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and uneven skin tone. For those struggling with hair loss, our specialized ProCell hair restoration therapy combines microchanneling with growth factor serums to stimulate new hair growth and stop hair loss at its source.

As a professional body piercer, I understand the importance of precision, safety, and artistic vision. My extensive training ensures that each piercing is placed with expert care, using only sterile equipment and high-quality jewelry to create the perfect aesthetic enhancement.

What sets my approach apart is not just technical proficiency, but a deep-rooted commitment to understanding the unique desires and concerns of each individual who walks through my door. Whether it’s crafting the perfect arch to frame a face or restoring confidence through paramedical tattooing, I approach every procedure with empathy, professionalism, and unwavering dedication to achieving the best possible outcome.

Beyond the strokes of my tools lies a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of the women I serve. It’s about more than just enhancing outward appearances; it’s about fostering inner strength, resilience, and self-love. Nothing brings me greater joy than witnessing the radiant smiles and newfound confidence of my clients as they step out into the world, ready to conquer whatever lies ahead.

I invite you to embark on a journey of self-discovery and transformation. Whether you’re seeking to wake up with flawless brows, define your eyes with precision eyeliner, or explore the possibilities of paramedical tattooing, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As a business owner and cosmetic tattoo artist, I can say that the journey has been anything but smooth. There have been numerous challenges along the way that have tested my resolve and forced me to adapt.

One of the earliest hurdles was managing cash flow. As a small business, it’s crucial to balance income and expenses, especially when you’re investing in equipment, training, and marketing.

The permanent makeup industry is highly competitive, and there’s still a small stigma attached to cosmetic tattoos. Some people view them as purely cosmetic or associate them with traditional tattooing, which can make it difficult to gain recognition and trust from potential clients. To combat this, I’ve focused on building a strong online presence and providing exceptional customer service to build my reputation.

As an artist, I’ve faced challenges in maintaining consistency and quality in my work. It took years of practice and perseverance to refine my skills, especially in the early days when results weren’t always consistent. I’ve learned that continuous practice, training, and staying updated with the latest techniques are essential for success in this field.

Starting a cosmetic tattooing business also involves navigating legal and regulatory hurdles, such as zoning ordinances and insurance requirements. Ensuring compliance with these regulations while maintaining a high standard of service is a top priority.

Despite these struggles, I’ve found that each obstacle has provided valuable lessons and opportunities for growth. By focusing on quality services, customer satisfaction, and ongoing education, I’ve been able to build a successful business and help clients achieve their desired aesthetic outcomes.
