Today we’d like to introduce you to Lauren Jackson .
Hi Lauren, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I went to Texas Tech University where I got my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I was on the track and field team at Texas Tech, and being a part of such an amazing organization at a Division 1 level instilled hard work, drive, and heart in me. My lifelong goal has been to help others and make the world a better place with each life I can touch to make a positive impact. I worked for three years in the Cardiac ICU in Lubbock. I then moved back to Austin where I grew up, and I worked for three years in the Pre-Op and recovery department. My passion has always been beauty and building confidence in others. This past year I decided to follow my dreams and I entered the aesthetic field of nursing. This year I started working for an amazing company, Newman & Company, and now I am blessed to combine my two passions of beauty and helping others. I am here to help others achieve all of their beauty goals. I offer many services such as Botox, Dysport, dermal fillers, PDO threads, Sculptra, Kybella, wellness injections, PRP injections also including microneedling, and the list goes on! In my off time, I am very passionate about traveling and have been to over 30 countries. I love to experience different parts of the world and people from all cultures and backgrounds. I love spending time with my friends and family and being out in nature and on a body of water! I am an Austin native, and I am so blessed to live and work in such an amazing city.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Nursing in the hospital was extremely challenging. I loved every minute of it being able to help others and save lives, but after six years it was weighing on me through the pandemic. I am fortunate to have found my passion after working in multiple nursing fields. It was not easy breaking into the aesthetics field, and I worked very hard to get here. I was fortunate to start working for Newman & Company. A company who believed in me and trained me to be the very best aesthetic injector. Through my nursing background, drive to follow my dreams, and work ethic, I have trained endless hours to provide my clients with the best aesthetic services that they deserve.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I have further specialized in aesthetic nursing. I provide my clients with Botox, Dysport, dermal fillers, Kybella, Sculptra, PRP injections, wellness injections, PDO threads, microneedling, and so much more! I am very proud of the hours I have put in training to become the best injector for my clients. What sets me apart is the care and love I have for each and every client who sits in my chair and their unique goals that I can help them achieve. Every face is different, special, and unique, and I treat each of my clients like I would want those closest to me treated. I want everyone to feel beautiful and confident, and I am here to listen and come up with an individualized treatment plan for all of my beautiful clients.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My mom and dad deserve all the credit in the world. They have supported all of my wildest dreams in career, travel, and who I am as a person. They pushed me to pursue my aesthetic career along with everything I want to do in life. They pushed me to be independent and to believe in myself and to believe I could do anything that I set my mind to, and I cannot thank them or repay them enough. They have paved the way and set the example for me of what hard work looks like and how it pays off. They taught me how to treat others well. Mostly they truly did instill in me that I can achieve anything I set my mind to, and to always do my very best.
