Hi Khatia, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I am Khatia, happy woman wife mother of two amazing boys, and founder of Khatia’s Crafteria. I am from country Georgia Eastern Europe. With my family, we moved to the USA eight years ago. We lived in New York for six years and moved to Austin almost two years ago. I have always loved crafting since childhood. In November of 2022, I started my journey on social media. Khatia’s Crafteria turned out to be very interesting and popular for the audience in a very short period. One of the reels on my Instagram page went viral and has more than 85 million views. All this made me decide to chase my dream to turn my hobby into a business. That’s how was born Khatia’s Crafteria – Customized Art, Craft & gift shop.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As it turned out being a successful mompreneuer is not so easy. There are plenty of daily new challenges along the way. But for me, it is a pleasant and interesting process. I try to adapt to everyday life, learn and catch up with news and be ready for market. Khatia’s Crafteria has been on the market for only three months now, and I am still in the learning and adjustment stage, but I have big plans and goals ahead. I believe that if you can dream it, you can do it. So, I will chase my dream to own it.

Do you know why I love crafting and especially the ability to personalize? Crafting is art for me, and art is a unique way to present your inner world in a different way and to be in touch with the world. With personalization, you can always stand out from the crowd. That’s why I love what I do. Everything in Khatia’s Crafteria is my creation. From the process of creating the designs to the result, it is handmade by me. I offer a variety of items that are perfect for any occasion: Glass Tumbler, muds, glow-in-the-dark designs, glitter glass tumblers, personalized & matching T-shirts for couples, family, mommy & me, daddy & me, and more. Magnets for fridge, stickers & magnets for car and many more. In case you can’t find what you are looking for, just let him know, and I will create and personalize it specially for you. That’s the most amazing part of this job.
What were you like growing up?
I have big plans; first of all, I want to locals know and trust Khatia’s Crafteria. I am working hard to increase the sales of my online shop. At the end of this year, I have to say that I did it! I am a businesswoman and successful mompreneur who did everything independently and alone without any help from anyone. I am already very proud and happy of myself, and I am ready for huge success!
