Today we’d like to introduce you to Danny Spears. Danny and his team share their story with us below:
Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Captex Construction’s President and CEO, Danny Spears has always been immersed in the world of construction. At 15 years old he worked on a framing project for a local builder and soon advanced his skills and secured work with a master mason. As a child, he was passionate about building and creating spaces, which soon morphed into the notion of constructing projects that had never been done before.
Throughout the course of his three decade-long career in building and construction, Danny has managed hundreds of projects ranging from 200-unit condominium buildings, large-scale single family homes, hotels, a causeway bridge, commercial stairway systems, and more. In 2008, he co-founded GreenLight Energy Services, an environmental consulting group, which focuses on using energy-efficient lighting and wiring in commercial buildings and industrial facilities.
In 2010, Danny launched Captex Construction, a full-service construction firm specializing in luxury residential new build homes. He has overseen and managed hundreds of home builds for clients in the Austin area. Danny is constantly surveying the transforming landscape of the area and his work reflects the latest advancements in home building and construction. He works diligently with each client and takes pride in seeing his completed projects and happy clients throughout the greater Austin area. Danny is truly dedicated to seeing each client’s vision come to life while exceeding their expectations, and is able to deliver work in half the time of other local builders.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been a struggle to piece a solid team. Through years of hard work, I’ve managed to build strong relationships with men and women that believed in my motto. Work for the customer and make their dreams come true in a beautiful home.
