Exploring Life & Business with Renuka Gulati of Renuka’s Kitchen

Today we’d like to introduce you to Renuka Gulati.

Renuka, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Having graduated with a Master’s Degree in Home Science from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, I always took interest in creating beautiful culinary experiences for my family and friends. After my marriage to my husband – Naresh Gulati, his job in the Hotel Industry gave me exposure to learning about how Culinary is practiced as a profession by Chefs and at the same time, I got to experience cuisines in many cities in India and Abroad.

I took an interest in preparing and presenting meals learning from the best in Industry. I also participated in many small competitions winning awards and recognition. After my husband retired, we decided to move to USA and practice professionally in the Culinary Industry.

This past Diwali (Nov. 4th, 2021), I was invited to prepare Hindu Satvik Lunch for Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas at their residence in LA.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I have indeed experienced my share of obstacles. We have only been in the US for the last two years. Learning about conducting business and networking in the industry, we have only emerged as stronger individuals.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Renuka’s Kitchen?

Butter Chicken is our Top-Rated dish and the secret to the recipe is the tender flavor that gets instilled during the marinating and grilling process.

I connect personally and thank all my customers for giving us the opportunity to serve them.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I receive a lot of support and guidance from my family, my daughter – Akanksha, my son – Anish and their spouses – Amritesh and Kriti respectively. But the biggest pillar of my strength is my Husband – Naresh, who has supported me financially and emotionally on each and every step of my journey.
