Hidden Gems: Meet Bill Cafferata of CaffGroup | Keller Williams Realty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bill Cafferata.

Hi Bill, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I have been a teacher and lacrosse coach for the last 10+ years as well as a real estate agent for the last 5 of those years. During the lockdown, I doubled down on my network and my real estate business began to explode. It was during the summer of 2020 that my wife Starlyn, two years old daughter Zoë, and I found out we would be adding to our family; however, to our surprise, Starlyn was pregnant with QUADRUPLETS!

Life changed overnight as we quickly needed to purchase a larger home and prepare for a family of seven! We spent the fall packing, planning, and making sure Starlyn was healthy while carrying the quads. At this point, I tripled down on my real estate business and continued teaching until the babies were born in January of 2021. I took a leave of absence for the remainder of the school year and decided this past summer I would leave the teaching profession to focus solely on my real estate business

Since going all in, I have become a top 20% agent within the Keller Williams Realty Southwest Market Center and qualified as a member of the Keller Williams Luxury homes division. I am currently expanding the business with a mission of giving back to our local Dripping Springs community.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Life is full of obstacles that, if you have the correct mindset, become some of your greatest stepping stones.; how you frame these challenges determines the level of your success. Before our lives changed forever with the birth of our quadruplets, we truly didn’t understand what a challenge was. Life was comfortable and routine but what I soon learned was the obstacle I needed to overcome was actually myself. It was this level of comfort, or what some would call complacency, that became a limiting belief that would never allow us to grow our business and help others the way we are today. We lived comfortably yet didn’t truly have a mission. Growing our family by four at once sparked tremendous personal growth which, since your business grows to the extent that you do, allowed our business to thrive. In growing CaffGroup, we now have the privilege to positively impact the lives of others through real estate and philanthropy.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about CaffGroup | Keller Williams Realty?
On the surface, we are a residential real estate business helping buyers and sellers realize their dreams of owning a home. This ranges from first-time homebuyers being handed the keys to their own home for the first time to an older couple downsizing the family home of 30 years after their kids have left the nest and everything in between.

At its core, we are truly a family business that specializes in working with other families on a human level. When I say family business, I truly mean it as our three years old Zoë is the best showing assistant Instagram has to offer and you will be sure to hear our quadruplets in the background when we are on a phone call. Our family social media accounts total close to 1 million followers which gives us a global reach for marketing purposes and allows us to stand out from our competition.

What I’m truly proud of is our mission to give back to the community that has given so much to us while paying it forward to those who need it. An example of this is our annual Santa’s Station Giving Drive we recently hosted on Mercer Street in Dripping Springs where we offered free Santa photos for the kids and a Bloody Buddy Bloody Mary bar for the adults along with fundraising opportunities that raised over $3,500 for local NICU families. We were in the NICU one year ago and vowed to pay it forward. CaffGroup will be celebrating our quadruplets first birthday this January by giving back to current local NICU families.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
The most important quality to my success in real estate is that I truly care about each and every family I serve. At the end of the day, everyone needs a place to live and I have the privilege of helping them with one of their biggest financial and most emotional decisions they will ever make. It is my goal that every client gets concierge service and leaves the closing table considering me a friend because two years from now, they won’t remember what we did as much as they will remember how we made them feel.
