Today we’d like to introduce you to Lafritzi Wydermyer.
Hi Lafritzi, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been a lover of facials since in my teens and I’ve always kept a skincare regimen of my own so getting into Esthetics was a no-brainer for me it just didn’t happen until later in my life. After getting married in my early twenties my husband and I started our own family business in the automotive industry so that kept me very busy. Years later my marriage came to an end and I needed to find a new career for myself so that’s when I enrolled in Paul Mitchell’s Esthetics Program. I was working full-time and going to school in the evenings. Once I became Licensed I started immediately working at a Med Spa where I learned to work with lasers and how to perform injections.
Being in the field I noticed that the darker skin tones were left out of a lot of the treatments so that made me very interested in learning more and more about melanin Rich skin. I’ve taken numerous training on corrective skincare treatments for multicultural skin so that’s my specialty. I have had lots of success in getting my clients skin cleared. I’ve been a solo therapist since 2018 and service hundreds of clients a year. I’m very blessed to do what I do, I’m passionate about clearing up my client’s skin and restoring their confidence. Over the years I’ve brought on a few other treatments to better service my clients which include

* Non invasive Body Contouring
* Eyelash Extensions
Corrective skin care treatments will always be my favorite treatments because it changes the way a client feels about themselves and that makes me so happy!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has been rough, during the early days of the pandemic we were forced to shut down & didn’t know how it would be once we were able to reopen again. Thankfully I was super once I reopened and gained a lot of new clients as well. I would say be prepared for ups in downs when owning your own business. There’s gonna be busy times where it’s just go go go… and there’s going to be slow times and you have to prepare for that. But I wouldn’t want to be doing anything else but what I’m currently doing. This is truly my calling 💕
