Hi Nidhi, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I am the founder of Passion for Picnic, we bring creative themes and picture-perfect luxury picnics and events in Austin, Texas. This concept was born out of a shared passion for hosting friends and family and my pure love for event styling. If you know me, you’d know how much I enjoy dining under the stars, scenic drives, and human connection. I am all about creating, styling, and providing memorable experiences for my guests.
We offer a personal, premium service that will allow you to sit back and relax, letting us do all the planning and execution for your special day. Give us your vision, ideas, and inspiration and we will do our utmost to give your special one party they’ve always dreamed of. The support has been exceptional since we launched, I’m sincerely grateful.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We launched in September 2021, we had seen a couple of picnic companies in Austin but we knew we would bring something new and different. As time has passed by, we’ve seen the luxury picnic community grow so large it’s overwhelming. That being said, we still consider ourselves unique and although there’s more “competition” as some may look at it, we are happy to support our fellow businesses.
Owning a business is hard, it is easier said than done, hard work, long hours, many sleepless nights, and people don’t see the blood, sweat, and tears. Wearing many “different hats” is also a struggle sometimes. As a mother, wife, full-time HR professional, it is hard to find the balance in all roles.

We have been part of many celebrations including birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers, anniversaries, photoshoots, and proposals.
