Hi Chelsea, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started blogging by accident when I quit my big tech job and moved to Australia to be an Au Pair. I was miserable at my corporate job, and though I took a massive pay cut and moved halfway around the world to a country where I had never been before nor knew anyone, it was the best decision of my life! I started posting about my travels on my blog and Instagram and it slowly grew into what One Chel of an Adventure is today! After Australia, I traveled for a little bit and then settled back in Austin, Texas and work in social media and communications. My motto is life is too short to live miserably, I hope to inspire others to go out and live their best life!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Definitely not a smooth road! I had so many people doubt me quitting my job and moving to Australia, but it has been the best decision I’ve ever made! Juggling a full-time job and trying to maintain my blog and Instagram is also difficult, but I try my best to use my time wisely!

I love traveling and sharing that with others! I hope my posts help people plan trips and make the most of them. I am most proud of my website – I just redid it by myself this year and have managed to increase my traffic ten times over, and in the middle of a pandemic no less!
