Melanated Source creates music trivia games that can be played at any social event. My first game, Sample Me This…Vol. I is unique because there aren’t many products on the market that are based around music samples and covers. This game can be very educational in learning the origin of songs & the history of sampling and covering of songs. People love this game because it can be played with people of all ages & backgrounds that can bring them together while also learning their music history. It could turn into a karaoke night or just a fun chill night of great music listening.
What is the most important lesson you’ve learned building your business that you can share with those just starting out in their entrepreneurial journey?
The most important lesson in building my business is learning that building a community and networking can help your business grow in a lot of ways. It can also help grow another business. Helping another business will not dim your light; it will actually shine it brighter so be willing to collaborate & work with other small businesses in your area.
