Today we’d like to introduce you to Amberleigh Carter

Hi AMBERLEIGH, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was always interested in health. But, when I was pre-med in college—majoring in Exercise Science and double minoring in Neuroscience and Psychology, I began to notice that the things my professors, experts, and research studies were saying was “the way”, my experience told me otherwise. For instance, I was exercising twice a day, counting and restricting calories, and cut out dairy, meat, and fruit…and I gained 50 pounds and was sicker than ever. I abandoned my fast track towards medical school, and went into the research realm to look for answers. While I was the Director of the Alzheimer’s and Dementia unit at a world-renowned research institute studying the effects of exercise and nutrition on cognition and memory, I discovered much more than any research study could ever show me. Because of this unique experience, I embarked on a journey of studying self-funded scientific research, and revealed many alternative options along the way. This led me to becoming a Doctor of Metaphysics and a Board Certified Alternative Medical Practitioner. Today, I work with individuals around the world, teaching them how to improve their health and lifestyle through their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, genetics, and beliefs. In addition to private sessions, I also teach through my podcast, “The Ask Amberleigh Show”, and my health and lifestyle magazine, “MANiCURE. Magazine”, which is a quarterly publication both in print and online. I offer individuals clarity on their journey by connecting them with the right tools they need to enhance their life.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Some of the struggles include remaining steadfast in the faith in myself to take an off the beaten path kind of route, especially when I was on such a traditional academic and prestigious route. As a business owner, I’ve needed to learn how to pivot along the way and make sure to keep taking care of myself while taking care of others. I’ve also had to learn to delegate tasks to others that might be better suited for certain tasks, even though I’m the owner and visionary. Being able to loosen my grip and receive constructive feedback has been a key for me in business ownership. When you have a specific skill set and unique craft, with a forward-thinking foundation, you’re not necessarily going to fit into a traditional workplace model. So being an entrepreneur and building a business, in addition to your craft, is a different animal and presents its challenges on a daily basis.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My private practice is Kinection Holistic Health, LLC. I am a Doctor of Metaphysics and an Alternative Medical Practitioner. I also produce and host my podcast, “The Ask Amberleigh Show” and I am the Founder & Owner + Editor-in-Chief of MANiCURE. Magazine. Since the launch of my health and lifestyle publication, MANiCURE. Magazine, my practice is remote. I offer one-on-one phone sessions for individuals seeking clarity on how to improve their health, relationships, and life. Other resources can be found through my podcast and magazine, as well as through my Ebooks and Webinars you can download on my website at www.amberleighcarter.com. I also offer health tips on my Instagram handle @dr.amberleighcarter and offer public speaking engagements for private, corporate, and public groups. I enjoy being a guest on podcasts, as well.

I am known for my unique way of working with energy and frequencies to shift major health and lifestyle issues. I work with the fundamentals of sound and information on a DNA level, and even wrote my doctoral dissertation on the physical nature of a belief and the physics of how to change that belief through inaudible sound.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
I always ask directly for someone to mentor me or network with me. Most people are flattered and try to offer as much advice as they can, but I keep in mind to stay respectful of their time and energy. I’ve looked online to find businesses who have done things I’m interested in doing, and I will call them or show up at their office to ask questions. It’s very direct, but I’ve found that directness and transparency are usually rewarded. Partnering with other colleagues helps, as well. Showing up to their events or tagging them on social media, inviting them to your events…it all helps. The more support, the better.
