In late 2023, I hit a moment of irony that almost ended my career as an entrepreneur. At the time, I was working part-time for a white-label agency, creating ‘dummy’ content for website templates – everything from bagel shops to painting contractors. When ChatGPT first went mainstream, the company showed me how to use it to speed up my workflow. Read more>>

Dr. Jessica Tranchina

Was there ever a time I wanted to give up? Heck yes. Building and running Generator Athlete Lab has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I have three kids, and the stakes have always felt incredibly high. If this didn’t work, it would have been a huge loss, both personally and professionally. I’ve questioned my choices more times than I can count. Read more>>

Amanda Dougherty

That’s such a great question. No one sees the amount of work I put into self development. I almost cringe writing that because it feels self-serving and buzzword-y. But it’s true. While I’ve had a lot of luck and privilege in my life, I’ve never been the type to take things at face value. I’m always questioning the ‘why’. This curiosity drives me. Read more>>

Suffering has taught me patience, resilience, and perspective is EVERYTHING. When everything is going well, it’s easy to move through life without questioning much and getting comfortable. But challenging moments have forced me to look inward and learn to trust the path I’m on, because everything happens for a reason. Read more>>

The first 90 minutes of my day are sacred — they set the tone for everything else. I start by plugging into God. Whether it’s through prayer, a devotional, or just quiet stillness, I make space to align my spirit before the world gets loud. Read more>>

Dan Oliver

The fear of being unloved if I show up fully as me. I often hid my opinions and even humor or wit to fit in. I dimmed my light in an effort to make others comfortable but it wasn’t helping anyone. I was afraid it I spoke my mind or had needs that I would be rejected. Read more>>

A moment that changed how I see the world was the quiet, painful realization that a struggling child is often misunderstood long before he is understood. As a mother, I found myself standing in that space so many parents know well , the space between what others see and what a parent knows in her bones. Read more>>

Sabrina Anderson

My perspective on the world wasn’t shaped by one single moment. Living in Spain, Chile, and Mexico and traveling to more than 30 countries has given me a deeper understanding of different cultures and the word. Seeing how people live, connect, and cope differently depending on culture helped me understand how much context shapes our emotions, relationships, and sense of self. Read more>>

Alexander Gore

I stopped hiding my pain and suffering during my first psychosis, in 2018. I discovered painting for the first time, and although I didn’t think I wasn’t good at it- I kept moving forward with it. Art gave me a purpose, a reason to be alive. When I got out of the mental hospital, art became my life. Read more>>

Terry Eaton

I was a creative child trying to find my way and discover which creative path felt right for me. Creativity was always a big part of my life. As mentioned, when I was young, I sold my own small paintings and craft pieces at the “starving artist fair” from about age 13 to 16. Read more>>

Jody Teiche

For decades, I ran my own PR firm in the entertainment industry in New York City. Called JLM PR, Inc., we represented artists like John Mellencamp, Iggy Pop, The Cure, Russell Simmons, Roger Waters, the Songwriters Hall of Fame and many others. I call my transformation From Rock Stars to Radiance. Read more>>

Absolutely—this moment feels very much like that. Preparing for the Affordable Art Fair has brought back that kind of energy where you wake up already in motion. There’s a different rhythm to it—everything feels heightened, intentional, and full of possibility. Read more>>

Well, my day looks a little different nowadays. I had a baby in May 2025, so I get up with her around 4 am and try to go back to sleep after a feeding! Then she gets up again at 7 am, so she feeds and then we cuddle until my son goes to school. Read more>>

My Mom shaped me more than anyone else. She showed me what it looks like to love people well, to stay steady when things are hard, and to live out faith in everyday life. About six months ago I made a video for Instagram on one of my pet peeves I refer to as ‘I feel it.’ How does your knee feel on those squats? ‘I feel it.’ How is your back doing with your deadlifts? ‘Oh, I feel it.’ How’s your neck doing on overhead presses? Read more>>
