Hi LaToya, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Spending time with my puppies has been giving me a lot of joy lately. I recently was blessed with two puppies, and they have been a whirlwind of lessons for me. Now that we are getting used to each other, and my husband being a fantastic trainer, I am enjoying their presence more and more every day lol!
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am a Diviner and Mystic. I connect with the Universe/God/Goddess/Higher Power… whatever you believe in… through symbology and cosmic language.
I am a practicing astrologer and tarot reader who helps folks every day with issues related to love, career, and life direction. What makes me unique from other diviners or mystics is that I’m Plutonian and that I’m learning Hellenistic Astrology from Chris Brennan. It’s been a long journey, and technically I am still on it, but I think it is helping me shape my views on the world and inform how to move forward consciously and strategically.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
This is a great question. I believe that before they told me to be a “good girl,” I was a Lilith figure. I questioned everything and knew my direct connection to the Higher Power. Even if it made others feel uncomfortable, I knew my truth.
When you were sad or scared as a child, what helped?
Music. Learning how to play guitar and writing my own music helped me. I honestly believe it saved my life.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I’m committed to writing my first physical book ever! It’s been a dream of mine for the longest time ever, so I’m finally committing to getting it done.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
I would immediately stop working for anyone else. I would just focus on what’s working in my business and continue to put energy into that direction.
