Meet Elizabeth Rori of Dripping Springs

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elizabeth Rori

Hi Elizabeth , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. After finishing college, I took a bold step and moved to Southern California all by myself—no friends, no job, and no plan. I spent most of my life on the beaches of San Diego, where I worked as a graphic designer for local and touring musicians, music venues, and festivals for 12 years. This gave me the opportunity to meet some of the most intriguing and successful individuals throughout San Diego and Los Angeles.

During my time in San Diego, I founded an entire art community. I organized large-scale events for local artists, combining venues, vendors, and nonprofit organizations. My mission was to showcase the incredible talent of these artists and foster a free-spirited, creative community.

After 65 shows, 130 artists, 45 venues, and collaborations with 19 nonprofit organizations, I realized it was time to pursue something for myself.

In 2020, I made the life-changing decision to leave everything behind and travel the country in a van with my two wolf dogs, Kelevra and Kennedy. This journey allowed me to dive deep into my spiritual path. I traveled to Tulum, Mexico, to partake in an ayahuasca ceremony, where I began unraveling parts of myself in need of healing and discovered a profound passion for helping others heal.

For over 4 ½ years, I’ve immersed myself in the spiritual realm, learning how to coach and guide others through their own healing journeys. I specialize in helping people reconnect with their inner child, embrace their masculine and divine feminine energy, and lead a free-flowing, blissful life.

Today, I’m based in Austin, Texas, where I continue my work as an empowerment coach, guiding men and women across the country to become the best, most healed versions of themselves.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Life isn’t meant to be a smooth road. The struggles and obstacles we face are placed there for a reason. The universe will continue to give us lessons until we truly learn from them. Embracing each challenge I’ve encountered has been a beautiful blessing in disguise.

In 1999, I lost the love of my life to a tragic heart attack—an obstacle I could never have foreseen. This loss not only shook me to my core, but it also made me question every aspect of my life. It was a harsh reminder of how fleeting life can be and how it can be taken from us in an instant.

I found myself in a dark place, a space that felt impossible to escape. I withdrew from friends and family, isolating myself in overwhelming grief and loneliness.

When I finally chose to dive deep into the spiritual realm, I lost almost everything—but I soon realized that when you ask the universe for change, it often begins by removing the people, places, and opportunities that no longer serve you. The universe was making space for what I had asked for, even though it didn’t seem like it at the time.

The obstacles placed in my path ultimately became blessings. I learned invaluable lessons, grew mentally and physically stronger, and proved to myself that I can overcome anything life throws my way.

Now, I see challenges as opportunities to grow, to gain wisdom and strength. I am grateful for every hurdle I’ve faced, as each one has shaped me into the person I am today.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am an Empowerment Coach for men and women. In essence, empowerment coaching is about helping people rediscover their inner strength, build self-trust, and create a life aligned with their true self.
As an Empowerment Coach I describe myself as the type of life coach who helps individuals take control of their lives by guiding them to recognize and tap into their personal power, confidence, and potential. My goal of an empowerment coach is to support clients in overcoming self-limiting beliefs, building self-awareness, and creating positive changes that lead to personal growth, fulfillment, and success.
Because I have experienced so much pain, tragedy, heartbreak, and endless grief in the past, I am in no position to ever judge another human. Although, I do understand what it is like to feel trapped, alone and stuck. I feel as if the universe has blessed me with such tragedies, so I am able to show, guide and teach others that you are capable of overcoming such difficulties.
As an Empowerment Coach I take pride in helping humans boost self-confidence and self-worth. I help clients recognize their strengths and build confidence in their abilities, often by addressing self-doubt and negative self-talk. Together we identify and sets goals, as I assist clients in identifying their true desires and goals, whether personal, professional, or spiritual, and develops actionable steps to achieve them. I guide others on how to break through limiting beliefs. I also empower clients to challenge limiting beliefs or patterns that have held them back, such as fear of failure, perfectionism, or feelings of unworthiness.
As an Empowerment Coach I guide personal transformation by providing support during personal transitions, whether it’s a career change, relationship shift, or personal healing journey. As their Empowerment Coach I facilitate the transformation from where the client is to where they want to be. I gracefully provide accountability and support: helping my clients stay committed to their goals by offering guidance, motivation, and accountability throughout the process.
A large part of the process is being given the tools to enhance decision-making: I encourage individuals to make choices that align with their authentic self and core values, leading to more intentional and fulfilling lives. As well as encourages empowerment in all areas of life. This could include areas like emotional resilience, career advancement, relationship dynamics, spiritual growth, or physical well-being.
As an Empowerment Coach for both men and women, many of the techniques I swear by are mind shifts; helping my clients shift from a scarcity mindset to one of abundance and possibility. Visualization and manifestation are powerful tools I incorporate into my all of my coaching sessions. I use tools such as vision boards or affirmations to help clients visualize the life they want to create. A major role in what I provide for my clients revolve around healing and self-discovery: The importance to incorporate healing modalities such as meditation, breathwork, or energy healing to help my clients unlock hidden potential and heal from past wounds. A key factor to my coaching is self-leadership. Teaching clients how to take ownership of their thoughts, emotions, and actions, empowering them to lead themselves confidently through life.
I truly believe that everybody has a purpose. Every single person has wounds they need to heal. And everyone can use an empowerment coach! I am grateful that I have the ability and tools to work with anyone looking for personal growth, empowerment, or navigating a significant life transition. I absolutely believe everyone can benefit from an empowerment coach.
I mostly work with people who feel stuck in life and want to break free from limiting patterns. Individuals who want to build self-confidence or improve their emotional resilience. Those seeking a better understanding of their purpose, inner power, or life direction.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was always highly intuitive, able to sense the energies in a room and deeply connected to the emotions of those around me. My compassion was boundless, driven by a strong desire to rescue animals and help others. I shared a close bond with my parents—open, honest, caring, and sometimes blunt in their approach. I was often described as an “old soul,” reflecting my deeper understanding of life and emotions.
As a child, I was an observer, often predicting events before they unfolded. I had an uncanny ability to grasp concepts quickly, sometimes faster than my peers. While I never experienced nightmares, I did have dreams about my grandparents, whom I never met. I frequently sensed shadows and energies, feeling a strong connection to the spiritual realm.
Despite being part of the popular crowd, I often felt out of place and a bit misunderstood. I actively participated in various school activities—practicing gymnastics for 16 years, dancing since a small child, cheerleading from age 7, and playing soccer for six years. I even served as the head of the yearbook and was crowned homecoming queen. Yet, through it all, I often felt as if I didn’t quite fit in.
Nevertheless, I was a happy child, always laughing, playing, and running around barefoot, embracing the joy of life.
