Today we’d like to introduce you to Khushbu Zaveri.
Hi Khushbu, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Innocent Imprint began because of my husband, who is a passionate full-time photographer. His passion for capturing moments inspired me to explore my own creative path. He encouraged me to dive into newborn photography, and once I did, I was captivated by the magic of those early moments in life. His support and belief in my abilities helped me turn that passion into my vocation. Over time, I developed my own style and vision, and Innocent Imprint grew into what it is today—a space where families can trust that their most precious memories will be beautifully preserved.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like any creative journey, there were challenges along the way. One of the earliest hurdles was building confidence in a new area of photography. While my husband’s guidance was invaluable, working with newborns is delicate and requires a great deal of patience and care. The biggest leap of faith was leaving my secured corporate job to pursue my passion full-time, despite the business not being fully established or having a steady stream of clients. Over time, persistence and hard work is beginning to pay off.
Another significant challenge was balancing the artistic side of photography with the practical demands of running a business. Managing bookings, editing, social media, marketing, and meeting the unique needs of each client required a lot of behind-the-scenes work. While I wanted to focus on the creative aspect, I had to learn how to handle the operational side as well.
These challenges ultimately strengthened the business, and each hurdle brought valuable lessons that helped shape Innocent Imprint into what it is today.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?

For your readers, I want them to know that Innocent Imprint is not just a photography service—it’s about celebrating life’s most beautiful moments and turning them into lifelong memories. Whether it’s a newborn’s first photos, a maternity session celebrating a new chapter, or a playful cakesmash, we’re here to capture it all with care and creativity. Additionally, we do offer photography & videography services for weddings, events, and housewarmings.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
If there’s one thing I’d advise anyone starting out in newborn photography, it’s to prioritize learning about “baby safety” before anything else. Before I even began booking newborn sessions, I invested time into understanding how to safely handle and pose babies. Working with such delicate little ones requires more than just creativity—it’s about ensuring their comfort, health, and safety at every moment.
Another piece of advice is to be patient with the process and trust your journey. Building a business takes time, and it’s normal to face challenges along the way. Focus on improving your craft, and learning everyday.
When starting out, I wish I knew the importance of balancing creativity with the business side—client management, marketing, and pricing are just as vital as photography itself. Setting boundaries and knowing your worth is key to avoiding burnout. Lastly, I’d tell myself that it’s okay not to have everything figured out; growth takes time, and you learn as you go.
