Meet Brayan Sosa and Brandon Sosa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brayan Sosa and Brandon Sosa

Hi Brayan and Brandon, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
From Humble Beginnings in Mexico to Thriving Business Owners in Houston: A Journey of Hard Work and Dedication

Growing up in Mexico, my brother Brandon and I learned early on the value of family, perseverance, and hard work. We spent our childhood there, but when we were 16, our lives changed dramatically as we made the move to Houston, Texas. It was a new world with a new language, culture, and opportunities, and we were determined to make the most of it.

We finished high school in Houston, but we knew that we didn’t want to follow the traditional route of college or a nine-to-five job. Our father was already working in the remodel industry for apartment complexes, handling sheetrock and painting, we joined him right after graduation. It was tough work, but it taught us a lot—patience, precision, and the basics of the construction trade.

Still, my brother and I always dreamed of something bigger. After a few years with our father, we decided to take a risk and step into something different. We got a job with a tile company, where we spent two years learning the ins and outs of the craft. It was in those years that our passion for tile work truly blossomed, and we realized we had found our calling.

With a strong work ethic and a desire for more, we took the leap and launched our own tile company. At first, it was challenging—late nights, long hours, and learning how to run a business on the go—but it paid off. We started to grow quickly, and before we knew it, we had expanded beyond tile. We were no longer just laying floors; we were doing full home remodels, working with designers, and sometimes even tackling projects for celebrities and athletes.

The journey hasn’t been without its challenges, but each setback has been a chance to learn and improve. In the eight years we’ve been in the industry, we’ve gone from small-scale projects to leading full-scale renovations, building a reputation for quality, craftsmanship, and reliability.

Our story is proof that with dedication, a willingness to learn, and a relentless work ethic, you can go from humble beginnings to running a successful business. We’ve come a long way since those early days in Mexico and working in Houston’s apartment industry, but we know there’s still so much more to achieve. The journey continues, and we’re excited to see where it takes us next.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Building a business in the remodeling industry has definitely not been a smooth road—there have been plenty of ups and downs along the way. Anyone who’s spent time in this line of work will tell you that it’s a mix of late nights, unexpected challenges, and hard-won successes. We’ve had our share of rough experiences, but those moments are part of the journey.

One of the biggest challenges has been finding the right people for our team. Good, reliable workers are the backbone of any successful business, but it’s not always easy to find individuals who share the same dedication to quality and hard work that we do. We’ve had to go through periods of trial and error—bringing people on, training them, and sometimes letting them go if things didn’t work out. It’s been a learning curve, and we’ve come to realize just how important it is to build a strong, dependable crew.

On top of that, there are the challenges that come with every new project—unexpected setbacks, tight deadlines, and the occasional unhappy client. There have been times when things didn’t go as planned, when materials were delayed, or when the pressure to finish a project on time meant working late into the night. In those moments, it’s easy to get discouraged, but we’ve learned to keep pushing through.

Every challenge has made us stronger, more resilient, and better prepared for the next hurdle. What used to feel overwhelming now feels like just another part of the process, and each problem we solve gives us more knowledge and confidence for the future. In a way, those struggles have been the best teachers. They’ve not only helped us grow as business owners but also shaped the way we approach our work—with more patience, skill, and an eye for detail.

So no, it hasn’t been an easy road. But I wouldn’t change it for anything. The lessons we’ve learned have been invaluable, and every obstacle has been an opportunity to improve. We’re better for it, and I’m excited for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I think what really sets us apart from others is our commitment to doing unique and original projects. We love working with talented designers in the industry who bring bold, creative ideas to the table. These collaborations allow us to push the boundaries and deliver something truly special for each client. We’re not just following trends; we’re helping to set them by bringing each designer’s vision to life with our craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Another thing that distinguishes us is our focus on showcasing our work through high-quality videos on social media. We put a lot of effort into capturing the essence of each project—the process, the transformation, and the final result. It’s not just about showing off what we can do; it’s about sharing the story behind each project. This has made a huge difference in reaching new clients. The videos give people a glimpse into the care and creativity we pour into every job, and it’s been a powerful way to connect with a wider audience.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
The most important quality behind our success is definitely attention to detail. In the remodeling industry, every little detail matters, and we take pride in making sure that each aspect of a project is handled with precision and care. Whether it’s a unique tile pattern, a perfect paint finish, or the smallest trim work, we believe that those details are what elevate a project from good to exceptional.
