Today we’d like to introduce you to Pallavi Srivastava
Hi Pallavi, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I grew up and studied in the largest city of Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The city is known for the different styles of architecture and historical iconic buildings. The place is known for its multicultural traditions to attain a rare degree of sophistication; and that I believe I carry even after more than decade on a foreign land that has become my homeland now.
It has been a beautiful journey so far to raise my family in this city that I find a perfect blend of cultures and a great education that I value the most.
On personal end, I am very ambitious, determined and still in the process to achieve the heights that I dreamed as a child. I have very high opinions about women and their caliber; I trust they can outperform in the society given equal opportunities and support. While personal circumstances can be wide-ranging, one thing is for sure: women are resilient and courageous. Therefore, we need to keep stirring ourselves and never stop chasing behind our vision.
I strongly believe; “The goal that you are seeking is seeking you too; therefore, never stop seeking”.
The Universe has definitely planned and rigged things for our favor; I am just trusting the process and utilizing all my efforts and energy in manifesting and working towards it. Your dreams and goals should never end.
My other passions are fashion, and I have appreciation for all creative arts. Life should always have a purpose, and a clear vision every day, for that reason we have incarnated as humans.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There is no beauty in life unless there are challenges. We never grow when things are easy, we grow when we face hindrances. In my life too, things have always been tougher than I thought they would be professionally. Coming from a middle class working family; education always has a special and the most important place for me. The only way to achieve success, respect and recognition in society, is education.
My dad often used to quote Benjamin Franklin; “An investment in knowledge pays best interest”.
I was brought up with this thought, that has made me highly ambitious and deeply visioned. Being a very bright student throughout my school life, I had a dream of becoming a Doctor, actually it wasn’t a just a dream, it was my passion, which I tried my utmost to achieve but could not fulfill.
Higher education system in India is flawed, there are reservations for different sections of the society based on who one is born as, rather than their lack of financial means. To uplift minorities, a huge percentage of seats are reserved. A student who belongs to a minority class could secure a seat by scoring just 40- 50 percent, wherein a non-minority class student needs more than 90 percent to secure a seat in medical schools. Unfortunately, I wasn’t born in minority class. There are many bright students in India who struggle to survive in a country with a 1.42 billion population and couldn’t crack those reputed national examinations and have a dream career. I am just one among them. My dream will remain a dream in this life. However, as I said before, if we have an optimistic mindset and keep manifesting, things workout in our favor. I am having a life full of contentment and love; I am working and planning to open my business that I will be announcing in a few weeks. I am very determined to get what I want. And I am very confident of my intentions, hard work and passion. Also I would like to emphasize here, the only precious thing we have is time. utilize it well.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
For me life is very precious, I honor it every day by making it purposeful, YET FULL OF JOY!! As nothing matters if we have discontentment at the end of the day; so each step in life has to be on the path towards achieving contentment and peace.
I am also moved by a quote by Barack Obama “What matters is how well we have loved, and what small part we have played in making the lives around us better”. I perceive it in a way; in the process of running and chasing our dreams we should never forget to live in between. Take time to savor the beauty, slow down appreciate small details of life, feel gratitude amidst all the demands and pressure.
NEVER HEARD A DYING MAN SAY ‘ I WISH I WOULD HAVE WORKED HARDER IN MY OFFICE’… (Isn’t it deep!!).
Workhard, stay happy, enjoy things, life is short, keep it long by staying optimistic always.
