We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Working at the White House for 9 years I was always gone traveling to 75 countries and all 50 states. George and Barbara Bush invited my wife to many events and meals so she would be included.
I’ve always loved being a photographer and feel it’s been important to give back to the community and young folks who I have worked with over many years.
I lived through the transition from film to digital photography which was a learning curve but a great opportunity especially when I managed photography for the Walt Disney Company.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a lifelong professional photographer. Only 12 people in the history of the United States have been the personal photographer for the President of the United States. Of this group I’m number 5.
6 years ago I founded The Texas Photography Festival.
Time magazine called me renowned and I have been called an Icon of American Photography
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
My family my faith and my friends oh and taking photos
