Check Out Davany Vargas’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Davany Vargas

Hi Davany, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
The idea for Organize It! home organization services, came from my lifelong love of home organization. Even as a kid, I was always a “neat freak.” My room was my sanctuary and I found joy in keeping it tidy, even color-coordinating my closet as a teenager. Over the years, that passion turned into a way to help others. Friends would see how I kept my home organized—especially my pantry—and ask me to do the same for them. I spent countless weekends helping friends organize everything from garages to makeup drawers and I realized how much I loved not just organizing, but also seeing how much it helped people simplify their lives. In 2024, I finally turned my passion into a business. It felt like the right time to make my dream of owning a business a reality.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting a business definitely came with its challenges! One of the biggest was training a team to follow my organizational techniques while still being adaptable to each client’s needs. Organization isn’t one-size-fits-all, what works for one family might not work for another. Finding that balance took time, as did learning how to manage workloads. Some weeks we’re all hands-on deck for a big project, while other weeks we’re juggling several smaller ones. But every challenge taught me something and those lessons have made the business stronger.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
At Organize It! we specialize in creating customized organizational systems tailored to our clients’ unique needs and lifestyles. Whether it is organizing a pantry, transforming a chaotic garage or streamlining an entire home, we focus on solutions that are functional and sustainable. Our goal is to help clients not only achieve their organizational goals but maintain them for long after we leave.

What I’m most proud of, it’s the combination of doing what I love and making a difference in people’s lives. Organization can feel overwhelming for many, but it’s second nature to me. Knowing that I can take that stress off someone’s plate and give them a space that feels functional and peaceful is incredibly rewarding. Plus, I love seeing the relief on a client’s face when they realize how much easier their daily life will be after everything is in place. Knowing we have helped families save time, reduce stress and enjoying their homes more is incredibly rewarding.

What sets Organize It! apart from others is that we focus on customization. Every client’s needs and lifestyle are unique, we take the time to understand their goals, habits and challenges. For example, a busy family with young kids might need systems that are simple and easy for everyone to follow, while someone with a small space might need solutions that maximize storage. We pride ourselves on customization because we believe organization isn’t just about making things look pretty—it’s about creating systems that actually work for people.

How do you think about luck?
Luck has definitely played a role in the success of Organize It! along with a mixture of hard work and passion. We have been incredibly fortunate to have clients who not only love the work we do but also take the time to share their experience with friends and family. Word of mouth has been our biggest source of new business, which is such a compliment. That kind of trust and recommendation feels like a little bit of luck. It reinforces that we are helping clients create spaces that make their lives easier and more enjoyable.
