Hi charlotte, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Charlotte, I am a ex war reporter turned family travel planner. I am French American, mama of 4. I am in love with the world, and exposing my kids to different culture is my priority. We’ve lived in the US, Africa, Asia and Europe so far with them. My goal is to inspire other parents and help them to the same with their kids. That is why I created Little Voyageurs (BLOG www.littlevoyageurs.com IG @littlevoyageurs) when my 1st daughter was born 10 years ago. First a travel blog, it is now a family travel planning agency. Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Finding what makes money has been the struggle! I started my carrier as a war reporter, but when I started my family this lifestyle did not suit me anymore. It took me 8 years to find a way to make money as an mompreneur. I started with a travel blog, then wrote print and digital family travel guides (really fun but not profitable), and 2.5 years ago I started travel planning and that has really taken off.

Little Voyageurs is a family travel planning agency. I craft unique family trips for clients featuring: a custom itinerary, handpicked hotels and activities, plus lots of mom’s advice.
What are your plans for the future?
A new move abroad and developing my offers at Little Voyageurs. Working on a collection of unique family villas around the world, paving a new way to travel with kids.
