Today we’d like to introduce you to Nilouphar Zahedi
Hi Nilouphar, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I was born in Tehran, Iran. Growing up in the middle class surrounded by lots of love and at the same time lots of cultural do’s and don’ts. I became a nurse in Iran and through working with patients, I’ve begun to know myself better.
I noticed how much I want to help others feel healthy and happy, and how the pain of other beings pains me. I was very blessed at that time to find a counselor who helped me to change my view of life and then my life began to change in front of my eyes.
When I finally got to the US I knew I wanted to become a chiropractor to help people get rid of their pain and discomfort through natural approaches, I learned that our body doesn’t work as an organ or system here or there but as a whole unit together. So I searched for more holistic approaches. Besides chiropractic, I studied functional nutrition, yoga, energy healing, and brain retraining. I’ve also continued working on my self-growth, and spirituality. I could see how powerful the human mind is and how we can create our realities with our thoughts. I could see how approaching human beings as a whole, can help them to not only survive and adopt their pain, but to heal and thrive.
So, this adventurous journey has brought me to the point that I am in life right now. I want to teach everyone how to make the desirable changes in areas of their life, to become the authentic future selves that they want to be.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Lol! Adventurous and interesting experience? Absolutely! Did I get blessed to be surrounded by outstanding people and nourish my soul? Gratefully so!
But the journey wasn’t smooth, like any other learning process. Lots of trial and error. As Edison said: I found thousands of ways that didn’t work and few that do. Through years of life and professional experience, I came to the rough understanding that I can’t be anyone’s hero, I can just show them the hero inside them if they want to find it and only then, if they want, they can reach their own superpowers.
I also learned through my ego getting punched and bit up, that I am one of those human beings, with thoughts and belief systems that are not letting me grow.
As you know, we’re big fans of Lotus Wellness Choice and Quantumystic Life. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
So, I began as a chiropractor who wanted so badly to just focus on a little pain in the joints. But my call was a little different. My patients came with more chronic conditions, more complex. The 5-10 minutes adjustment didn’t even break the ice for them,
So, I opened Lotus Wellness Choice to create a patient-focused practice. That way I could dig deeper for the root causes of my patient’s health conditions. The service they received wasn’t chiropractic care but educating them on how to activate their inner healer, and what to do at home to be in control of their healing process, They needed to be heard and listened to. They needed someone to feel their situation from their point of view and then learn how to effectively respond. And I must admit I am very good at this.
So, the experiences that I gained in Lotus Wellness Choice helped me to realize my dream, which is to teach people how to retrain their brains to step into their power.
