Meet Hannah Mosing of Austin/Dallas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Mosing

Hi Hannah, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I moved to Austin, Texas when I was around 8 years old from Lafayette, Louisiana. When I was growing up, I always loved to read and write and still do. I expanded on my love for writing throughout college and eventually started writing poetry. I released my first official book in 2024 with plans for a second book to be released and published in 2026.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
There have definitely been some challenges – I think one of the biggest struggles for me was overcoming doubt and gaining self-confidence. I would say the road to get to where I am today has definitely been bumpy but worth it.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’d like to think of myself as a creative but BUSY person – I work both full time and part time and I have a passion for writing, specifically poetry. I am most proud of releasing my first poetry book and am currently working on my second book! I think something that sets me apart from others is my love for the arts and my empathetic nature.

What matters most to you? Why?
There are a lot of things that matter to me, but mental health is something that matters very deeply to me. Yes, my family, work, and other relationships to me, but I feel that the binding force behind the relationships we develop in life is our mental health and how we approach situations. I have struggled with my mental health for a long time, so being in a place where I’m more mentally healthy/more conscious of my mental health is very important to me and matters a lot when it comes to how I approach the communication dynamic with those in my life.
