Today we’d like to introduce you to Diego Ojeda
Hi Diego, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I was born and raised in Austin, Texas, with three brothers—two older and one younger. Growing up, my family instilled in me valuable lessons about discipline, hard work, and perseverance, which have shaped who I am today.
After high school, I was unsure of my next steps, and college didn’t feel like the right fit at the time. My older brother, a social media powerhouse with over 10 million followers, encouraged me to take a gap year instead of diving into something I wasn’t passionate about. I already had a solid understanding of social media and knew I wanted to pursue something in that space, so it felt natural to combine it with my interest in real estate.
I decided to take my brother’s advice and spent the first six months after graduation traveling with him. During this time, I learned how to film, edit, and create viral videos. But the biggest lesson came from the people I met along the way. Content creators I encountered all shared one key trait—discipline. It was the driving force behind their success.
One creator who particularly inspired me was TMartn. He runs a popular gaming channel and a travel channel with his wife. What stood out most was his incredible discipline. Even while on vacation, he posted videos consistently every day. He’d film his content for the travel channel, then enjoy the beach or go out, showing me that success requires constant effort, even when you could easily take a break. His wife is equally inspiring; she’s a go-getter, and together, they make a powerful team. Their partnership showed me that choosing the right person to be by your side can make you unstoppable, much like my dad and TMartn’s relationship.
Discipline also runs deep in my family. My older brother, who pushes for greatness every day, and my younger brother, a top swimmer in Texas who runs a YouTube gaming channel on top of early-morning practices, inspire me to never stop working hard. My parents are my greatest motivators. My dad, who got me interested in real estate, has sacrificed so much for our family, working tirelessly to ensure we have the best opportunities. My mom has always supported me, teaching me how to enjoy life while staying focused. She also taught me the importance of never stopping learning, a mindset that has helped me excel on social media by constantly seeking ways to improve.
My oldest brother, Carlos, who’s now coaching gymnastics at Stanford, is another source of inspiration. His journey has been full of ups and downs, but he never quit. His perseverance motivates me to keep going, no matter the obstacles.
Discipline, sacrifice, and consistency are the foundations of success. My parents showed me what it means to sacrifice for the family, driving us to practices and competitions, all while working hard to provide for us. Watching their example, I know that nothing worth having comes easy, and with hard work, anything is possible. This is just the beginning for me, and I’m excited for the challenges and opportunities ahead.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No it has not. many ups and downs. very long months with seeing 0 return on what I was doing. My social media was doing good to start off which helped me stay motivated but I wasnt making any money for the first couple months.
We’ve been impressed with Diegoojedaatx, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a realtor in austin texas. My social media handle is @diegoojedaatx. I specialize in downtown highrises. I know almost everything about them. I work all over austin. selling houses and helping people buy rent or sell their condos and apartments. what sets me apart is the way i market myself. I have a unique style and I think I have done a great job at making awesome and engaging videos to market properties. I also create videos about downtown food, things to do, lifestyle, and other things going on in austin. im most proud of my videos that I make. I think they have a really cool style when it comes to editing and also very different. I use a lot of differenet equipment to make sure I am posting the highest quality content. Im known for my real estate videos where i show off a high rise downtown or tour someones apartment with them. I want the readers to know that I help people buy and sell any where in austin and that I make sure I provide seamless experience to my clients.
Any big plans?
I am looking forward to posting more videos and capitalizing on more opportunities this year. I am starting to create more videos of houses as well.
