Community Highlights: Meet Shanna Grote of Just Fitness 24/7

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shanna Grote.

Hi Shanna, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Just Fitness has been in Belton for over 20 years. During COVID, Health clubs really struggled since they couldn’t stay open. I purchased Jut Fitness in 2020 and have worked hard to keeping it open. The gym is beginning to flourish again. Our members love their “club” and are like family.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As a restaurant owner, my own personal challenge was to learn the fitness industry. Struggling through closures and membership decline through and after Covid has been difficult. Additionally there are a million big name gyms out there. One thing that keeps our customers coming back is the home town feel. We know your name and care about your health.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Just Fitness 24/7?
We are indecently owned. I, the owner personally own and operate the gym. I am proud of how we treat our members and how personalized we keep our relationships. We also have an amazing trainer on site. He offers body transformation and works with a variety of clients.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Being kind to our clients. Keeping the gym clean. We have a fantastic location walking distance from the High School and many neighborhoods.
