Community Highlights: Meet Hannah Victoria Nemes of Hannah Nemes Real Estate

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Victoria Nemes.

Hi Hannah Victoria, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
A legacy of helping people.

Since before she was born, Hannah Allen’s family has had a history of connecting to the greater community via politics, tourism, hospitality and art. Her family home in Central Texas was so welcoming in fact, that by the time she’d turned 7, an extra bedroom was opened to visitors. Soon after other bedrooms followed and the “Colcord House” bed and breakfast was born. Hannah’s family lived within this amazing place during many years of her early life. The experience of meeting travelers from around the world opened her eyes to so many different perspectives on life. Hannah learned then, that people would return specifically to spend time with her family – and that having a host who also happened to be one of the best counselors in the State offered an experience worth repeating. It’s here that she first learned that the homes that people live in (and visit) and those who we visit with, are both an integral part to helping us truly live.

A Psychology Major in college and having come from a family of counselors, Hannah developed her interest in specifically counselling the most difficult of human issues.

During some visits to Austin, Hannah became hooked by the city. It was full of welcoming, friendly and progressive people. It has a culture that appreciates diversity in music, food and art, some of Hannah’s favorite interests. Austin’s community was truly adventurous! Austin also seemed to embrace its history, and the people there seemed to care about keeping Austin traditions alive. This was what home had always felt like. It is rare and wonderful to experience a place that can look forward and backwards at the same time.

Hannah loves to introduce new-comers to the Austin she’s come to love. The food scene, the nightlife, a great museum – she can recommend the best to you. With Hannah, you can find the same welcoming and naturally comfortable city to live in, that she found.

Hannah has special interest in historic properties and saving their stories. She can help you with all of your renovation projects and has a keen ability to connect to those things that were once beautiful, keeping them alive, and restoring to new existences. In addition, Hannah has a proficiate experience finding off market properties of all kinds, loves working with builders and developers, and has vast knowledge when it comes to finding investment properties and building a portfolio.

Hannah helps clients with their real estate needs, but put more simply – Hannah helps people!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My road to success hasn’t been an easy one. I was in the bar industry for 11 years before getting my RE license. I had a lot of people doubt I’d ever get out of hospitality and “make it” doing anything else. I think most younger, attractive girls get that same treatment. But I’m a Taurus, so once I make my mind up- that’s what’s happening! I dug my heels in (literally) and had something to prove to everyone. Myself, my family, my friends and most of all the people that were watching me, hoping I would fail so that I’d come crawling back to the bar scene so that they could say (or at least think) “I told you so”.

I had to completely kill off the previous versions of myself. Letting go of large followings on social media, past photos and videos…no more free weekends or party nights. I had to get serious and I did.

As you know, we’re big fans of Hannah Nemes Real Estate . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I’ve been in real estate 9 years now. I’ve seen multiple different markets and have sold everything from land, to investment properties, to first time starter homes, to multi million dollar home on Lake Austin. But, what gets me most excited are large scale multi family or land acquisitions for development (residential or commercial). My husband owns a roofing and construction company also, so we are scouting land currently for our own projects. Working with builders, developers and investors would be what I’d say I specialize in if I had to choose- although, I will sell anything!

What sets me apart from other agents is my pure GRIT! I’m a hard worker and I always have been. I’m used to juggling tasks because I’ve always had multiple jobs, even when I was in college I worked between 40-60 hrs a week.

My social media following makes me very happy and I’m glad we as agents have an outlet like Instagram and Tiktok to show the world our authenticity. It’s growth over the past couple years has made me immensely proud and I love hearing “I follow you” when in public- especially from other women. I believe it’s my duty to help create a space where women can feel inspired and empowered by the business and brand I’ve built/am building, and hopefully motivate them to fulfill their own dreams.

I want my your readers to know that I am a full service agent. I care about my clients, and the relationships we build together. I want to cultivate long lasting relationships with my clients and not just be your agent, but be your friend. I’ve been invited to weddings, baby showers, kids birthday parties and more. This is because what we experience together isn’t just a transaction, but the start of a real friendship.

Any big plans?
My next big move is to start building and developing my own residential projects. Stay tuned for that!
