How Triple CHK Wedding Management Came to Life

Triple CHK Wedding Management began as a passion project between three friends—our initials, C, H, and K, forming the name. What brought us together was a shared frustration: planning weddings was hard enough, but finding affordable, just coordination services felt impossible. Everywhere we turned, couples were being forced into full-service planning packages that far exceeded their budgets, even when all they really needed was someone to manage the day and make sure things ran smoothly.

We saw an opportunity—and a need—to create something different. Triple CHK was built on the belief that every couple deserves peace of mind on their wedding day, without having to pay luxury-planner prices. From the beginning, we offered flexible, hourly coordination packages that allowed couples to customize exactly what they needed, and nothing they didn’t.

Eventually, I took over the business on my own and kept the mission alive: helping couples have a flawless wedding without the stress or sticker shock. Today, Triple CHK is known for delivering calm, professional, and detailed coordination tailored to every unique couple—and I couldn’t be more proud of where we’ve come.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Growing Pains That Paid Off

One of the biggest challenges in growing Triple CHK was knowing when it was time to bring on additional coordinators. For a long time, I handled everything myself—emails, timelines, meetings, rehearsals, and of course, wedding day management. I loved being so hands-on, and I took pride in the personal relationships I built with each couple.

But as word spread and referrals grew, I found myself stretched thin. I was turning away amazing clients simply because I couldn’t be in two places at once. Still, the idea of handing over part of my business to someone else felt overwhelming. Would they care as much? Would they deliver the same level of detail, calm, and care that Triple CHK was known for?

It took time (and honestly, a little burnout) to realize that bringing on the right people wouldn’t dilute the brand—it would strengthen it. Once I started training and mentoring additional coordinators, I saw how empowering it was to grow a team that shared the same passion for helping couples. It was one of the best decisions I ever made.

Today, Triple CHK has a trusted team of coordinators who treat every wedding like it’s their own. We’re able to serve more couples while maintaining the high standard and affordability that we started with. Letting go was hard—but watching this business grow beyond just me has been incredibly rewarding.
