We’re looking forward to introducing you to Corina Corbeille Founder & CEO, RN, BSN. Check out our conversation below.
Good morning Corina, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
My boyfriend and I have been taking a class on the 5 Love Languages, and it’s brought so much joy into my life lately. It’s truly fascinating to learn more about each other and how we each prefer to give and receive love. It’s not just a class—it’s a fun and purposeful date night that has given us a clear roadmap for how to make each other feel more cherished and understood.
Taking the time to do this together in our busy lives, has helped us communicate better and has made our bond even stronger. It’s a wonderful reminder that the small, intentional moments we share can make the biggest difference.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Corina Corbeille, Founder & CEO, RN, BSN of The Art of Anti-Aging in Austin, Texas, a medspa that combines artistic precision with medical expertise. As a Registered Nurse I’ve dedicated my career to The Art Of Anti-Aging. For me, it’s truly a passion. My journey began over 20 years ago, and it was shaped by the incredible opportunity I had working with a top plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills. That background gave me a unique perspective, where my focus is always on creating natural, subtle, and balanced results. I never want someone to look ‘done,’ my goal is to simply restore their confidence and the youthful contours they once had.
I believe in empowering our patients by making them a true partner in their own skincare journey. That’s why we prioritize patient education and creating personalized, full-face care plans. It’s not just about a single treatment; it’s about making anti-aging goals feel attainable and accessible to everyone. The most rewarding part of my practice is when our team sees patients who have been with us for years, some even traveling from out of town just to see us. That kind of loyalty is the highest compliment we can receive.
Our practice stands out because of this philosophy. We offer a comprehensive suite of services, from injections to advanced skin treatments like microneedling with exosomes and chemical peels, because a holistic approach is key to truly transformative results. It’s an honor to be recognized as a ‘RealSelf Most Loved Injector,’ but honestly, the true reward is seeing my patients light up when they love what they see in the mirror.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
When I was younger, I went through an experience where I was shortly hospitalized, and it was a really scary and uncertain time. The whole situation felt overwhelming, but there’s one moment that stands out and truly shaped the person I am today.
I remember a nurse came into my room, and she had this incredible presence. She didn’t just walk in; she took charge of the situation. She was so calm, confident, and empathetic all at once. I felt like she saw me not just as a patient, but as a person, and she was in complete control of my care. In that moment, all the fear and confusion seemed to fade. I just remember thinking, “That is what I want to do.”
That single experience gave me a purpose. It showed me how a person with knowledge, compassion, and skill could make all the difference in someone’s life during their most vulnerable moments. It was that nurse who inspired me to go into medicine and become a nurse myself. I wanted to be that source of strength and comfort for someone else, and it’s why I am so committed to not just treating my patients, but truly connecting and seeing them as people.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could go back and say one kind thing to my younger self, I would tell you to not forget to enjoy the moments as you are building your success.
I know you are so focused on the future—on the next goal, the next achievement, and the final destination. You are working so hard, and that drive is what will get you there. But I want you to know that the journey is just as important as the goal itself. And don’t forget that. Don’t be so busy looking ahead that you miss the beauty of the present.
Savor the small victories, cherish the people who are with you along the way, and find joy in the process. True success isn’t just about reaching the top; it’s about finding fulfillment in the climb. Be proud of the person you are becoming and be present for all the moments that are shaping you. They are just as valuable as the success you are so eagerly working for.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What truths are so foundational in your life that you rarely articulate them?
Some truths are so foundational that they become the silent compass you live by, so deeply ingrained in your character that you don’t need to articulate them. For me, these truths are integrity, honesty, courage, and simply doing the right thing.
I’ve always believed that you shouldn’t have to announce your values; they should be visible in your actions. Being a truthful person isn’t a boast—it’s the only way to be. Courage isn’t something you talk about; it’s the quiet strength you find to do what’s right, even when it’s difficult or unpopular. It’s about living in a way that aligns your words with your actions, so there’s no gap between what you say and what you do. These principles are the unspoken standard for how I navigate the world.
Because they are so fundamental, I rarely feel the need to talk about them. It’s like having to explain why you stand on solid ground. These truths are simply the foundation of who I am, and I trust that how I live and treat others speaks for itself.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
The story I hope people tell about me when I’m gone is a simple one: that I was an inspiration. I hope they remember me as someone who chased after my dreams—both personally and professionally—and that by being true to myself, I gave them the courage to chase their own.
I hope my story inspires people to not only dream but to act on those dreams. I hope they remember me as the person who said, “I’m going to start a business,” and then actually did it. My wish is that they see my life as a testament to the fact that success isn’t just about having great ideas; it’s about having the courage to put in the work and make them a reality.
I also hope my story inspires people to see the world. To me, travel was never just a hobby; it was a way of life. I hope they remember that I managed to visit 49 countries and 6 continents thus far, and that my adventures served as a reminder that the world is a vast, beautiful place just waiting to be explored. My hope is that they’ll see my passport as a record of a life lived without fear, and that it inspires them to book a ticket, get lost in a new city, and meet people from different cultures.
Ultimately, I hope the story of my life is a quiet invitation to others: to live authentically, to never stop learning, and to embrace the beautiful and adventurous journey of building a life you love.
