An Inspired Chat with Elizabeth Golembiewski of Northwest Austin

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Elizabeth Golembiewski. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Elizabeth , thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
For me, it’s been the simple but soul-filling things like making jewelry, letting creativity flow through my hands. I’ve also been savoring the playful chaos of life with my two Westies, whose antics never fail to make me laugh. Lately, I’ve found excitement in taking online learning classes that spark new ideas and open up fresh possibilities. And in the quieter moments, I’ve been experimenting in the kitchen, discovering great recipes that make cooking feel like a new adventure every time.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Elizabeth Golembiewski. So glad you’re here! From an early age, I was drawn to understanding people and the deeper layers of what makes us thrive. That curiosity grew into a lifelong passion for personal growth and transformation. Over the years, I’ve seen how powerful it is when someone finds the courage to live authentically and open their heart to love, whether in relationships with others or with themselves.

Since 2009, I’ve had the privilege of guiding people through love, dating, and life’s transitions, supported by extensive training in Life, Relationship, and Dating coaching. What moves me most is walking beside people at the level of heart, soul, and spirit. My approach is both practical and soulful—helping uncover new ways of thinking, repairing relationships, and bringing clarity to the next steps in life’s unfolding journey. I believe transformation happens when we reconnect with who we truly are and awaken to the unlimited power that’s been within us all along.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
The bonds between people are broken when communication shuts down, when honesty is replaced with avoidance, or when assumptions and judgments take the place of curiosity. They weaken when we don’t follow through on commitments, when we stop showing appreciation, or when conflicts are left unresolved.

They are restored when we make space for honest conversations, when we listen with the intent to understand, and when we take responsibility for our part. When we express appreciation, rebuild trust through consistent actions, and choose repair over being “right,” our relationships thrive.

When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
I stopped hiding my pain when I realized it didn’t have to define me. For years, struggles with self-esteem and loneliness colored the way I saw myself and my relationships. I believed they were weights I’d always have to carry. But when I turned toward my own healing, something shifted – my struggles became teachers. Each challenge revealed where I needed to grow stronger, gentler, and more honest with myself.

When I stepped into coaching singles and couples, I discovered something powerful: the same wounds that once held me back could now guide others forward. My experiences became fuel for connection, compassion, and clarity. What once felt like a burden turned into a bridge—helping me meet people exactly where they are in their own journey, and showing them that love and self-worth are not distant dreams but living, breathing possibilities.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What do you believe is true but cannot prove?
I believe we are spiritual beings first, human beings second. Our spirit is the core—the unchanging essence that holds wisdom, love, and purpose. It’s the part of us that exists before the labels, the roles, the struggles, and the stories we tell ourselves. Being human is the expression of that essence—it’s how our spirit learns, stumbles, grows, and connects through the very real experiences of life.

When we remember who we really are, challenges shift in meaning. Loneliness becomes an invitation to reconnect with our inner wholeness. Conflict becomes a mirror reflecting where love is being called forth. Even heartbreak can become a doorway into deeper compassion. Our human experiences are not mistakes or detours; they are the classrooms where our spirit teaches us who we really are. We stop measuring our worth by outside standards and start aligning with something higher, steadier, and truer. Our relationships become less about filling a void and more about sharing the abundance we already carry within.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I am living what I was born to do. Teaching has always been woven into who I am—it’s not something I stumbled upon, it’s something that’s guided me since childhood. When I was twelve years old, I gathered the younger children in the neighborhood and organized a little craft class. I didn’t think of it as “teaching” back then; it was simply a joy to share what I knew, to see the spark in someone else’s eyes when they created something with their own hands.

That same spark has stayed with me all my life. I’ve always been drawn to both learning and teaching—the exchange of ideas, the opening of new possibilities, the way understanding can shift someone’s entire perspective. Coaching became the natural extension of that calling, the place where it all came into full bloom.

When I began working with singles and couples, I realized I wasn’t just teaching tools or strategies—I was guiding people back to themselves, back to their capacity for love, connection, and growth. It felt like everything I had learned, every challenge I had walked through, had prepared me for this work. Coaching isn’t just what I do; it’s the deepest expression of who I am.
