Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Allanah

We recently had the chance to connect with Allanah and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Allanah, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What’s the most surprising thing you’ve learned about your customers?
One of the most surprising realizations I’ve had in my journey is that many of my clients share similar experiences to those I faced in my past. This commonality has allowed me to forge deep, meaningful connections with them. Whether it’s grappling with low self-worth or navigating toxic relationships, these shared struggles create a bridge of empathy and understanding. The ability to relate personally to these issues allows me to connect with my clients on a deeper level. This shared understanding fosters trust and openness, creating a safe space for them to explore their feelings and develop strategies for growth. By addressing these shared challenges, we can work together to build resilience and cultivate healthier mindsets. It’s a journey of healing and empowerment, both for my clients and myself, as we learn from one another and grow stronger with each step forward.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi!, My name is Allanah, and i’m the owner of Green Space Readings, a space for heart-centered healing. I am a Psychic Medium and Tarot Card Reader with over seven years of experience in guiding individuals to find clarity and peace in their lives. My work is deeply rooted in intuition and compassion. In addition to my psychic work, I am a Certified Reiki Master, and just in case you don’t know Reiki is a form of energy healing that promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and improves overall well-being. Beyond my healing practices, I am passionate about creating tangible items that support personal growth and wellness. I craft handmade candles infused with intention and love. Each candle is designed to enhance meditation, relaxation, and spiritual practices. I’m also a journal designer. Journaling is a powerful tool for self-reflection and personal development. I’m also a mother of three! My children teach me patience, love, and resilience every day. Balancing motherhood with my work allows me to integrate family values into my practice, emphasizing the importance of nurturing and connection. I have been working on some new items like my spell kits and summer pots. The kits are curated collections of items that serve a specific purpose, whether it’s for protection, love, prosperity, or healing. Each component in a spell kit is chosen for its symbolic significance and the energy it brings to the ritual. Simmer pots are a delightful way to incorporate the power of aromatherapy and herbal magic into your daily life.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
In my own experience I’ve seen that bonds are often tested by misunderstandings and emotional disconnects. At the heart of these challenges is a common struggle: the inability to truly understand how another person feels. We frequently find ourselves ensnared in our own emotions, wrapped up in personal perspectives that prevent us from considering another’s point of view. This focus can lead to the deterioration of connections that once seemed unbreakable. I also think that peoples lack of communication can also add to these issues. Once people are able to step outside of themselves and fully understand how certain things can effect others this is when growth can happen and that can lead to the possibility of restoration between these bonds.

However I am also aware that there are some bonds that do not need mending. And that is perfectly fine.

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
Honestly the fear of being seen and judged for my work has held me back a lot. People have called me evil, thought I was doing “work” on them or their families. I’ve grown a lot out of that and slowly I have allowed myself to step into the spot light. No longer allowing those fears from stopping me from being bigger and shining brighter.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
So the public version of myself yes it is the real me but also at the same time it’s not. When I am out and I am in front of people I really get to have my big fiery passionate loud/extrovert Leo side come out to its full capacity. I’m still loud and fiery and passionate at home but I’m also more comfortable. So I will dance and I will sing and probably be more outgoing and silly. Also at home when I’m not in the public eye I get to be Mom and I get to have that whole other side of me that many people do not see unless I’m in that nurturing, comforting mode of my spiritual services

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
As of now I can happily say that I’m doing what I was born to do! I have a Spiritual business that gives me the best feeling. I don’t know if this is going to make sense but there are days when I will perform spiritual services for my clients and I will just have the best feeling afterwards like my soul is complete my heart is full and there is no way I could ever get this feeling anywhere else.
