We recently had the chance to connect with Gabby Terrazas and have shared our conversation below.
Gabby, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What is a normal day like for you right now?
A normal day for me right now is editing my photoshoots, working at the radio and when I have photoshoots I do them.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Gabby and more know as “Gabby’s Media” I have been doing Photography, Video and Graphic Design for years but I focus more into the Photography world, from maternity, newborn, quinceaneras, weddings, birthdays and more. Gabby’s Media started as a hobby and with the years became a business, I would say I focus more into making that moment super special for the client and having a great treatment and making them be comfortable being in front of the camera. Years back I wanted people to know and remember me as “Gabby’s Media” and I have accomplished that goal, I used to promote my business so much that now It’s by word and that makes me really proud of all of the work that I put all these years.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I was someone who dreamed freely, loved boldly, and didn’t question whether I was enough. I was curious, unafraid, and full of wonder, before the world taught me to measure myself.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Everything will make sense one day. Trust yourself and don’t give up.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes! I think that being real is the best thing you can do in public and private.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people say that I made them feel seen, loved, and valued, that my presence made their world a little warmer.
